Lenoir City falls in second-half rout

Brantley Stockett, left, takes a hand off from Devin Noah late in the fourth quarter Friday against Red Bank.

Down 14-7 heading into halftime, the Lenoir City High School Panthers believed they had captured momentum against the Red Bank High School Lions Friday night at Cecil Thomas Field.

Instead, a 30-0 run by the Lions sent the Panthers (5-4) home with a one-sided, 44-7 loss on senior night.
