South-Doyle's Wesley Holt made 13 tackles and a sack in the Cherokees' win over Halls last week. The Cherokees won the regular-season 2-5A matchup between the two teams 27-7.
Austin-East (10-2) at Alcoa (10-2)
Walker Russell threw for 139 yards and a 21-yard TD pass to freshman tight end Grey Carroll to lead Alcoa over Austin-East 28-7 in the final game of the regular season. Isiaiah Ligon scored Austin-East's only touchdown of that game from a yard out. Alcoa won the 2-3A title in that first meeting.
Coalfield (11-1) at Greenback (11-1)
Greenback won the regular-season 2-1A matchup against Coalfield 34-33 with Breeden Gilbert running the wildcat. He and Josh Edwards each have 16 rushing touchdowns. Parker McKinney leads Coalfield with 2,689 passing yards and 34 touchdowns.
Bradley Central (10-2) at Maryville (11-1)
Maryville won the regular-season finale over Bradley Central 31-7 to earn the 2-6A title. Dylan Hopkins rushed for four touchdowns, on runs of 1, 41, 6 and 10 yards. Dylan Standifer threw for 177 yards on 16-of-30 passing for Bradley Central.
Rockwood (9-3) at Meigs Co. (12-0)
Meigs County won the regular-season matchup between these 2-2A opponents 48-27, seizing upon a 36-point third quarter. Meigs County averaged 38 points in the regular season, while Rockwood had 34.
