Covington: Woody hurries Lomax, who is forced to dump it off to no one. Lomax sacked for a loss of four on fourth and Alcoa will take over at the Covington 2.

Alcoa: On third and eight at the 8, Russell fakes the handoff and runs up the middle for five. Covington jumps and Alcoa now has fourth and one and a half. Russell is stuffed. Covington takes over at its own 2.

Covington: Cameron Woody comes downwith an interception and returns to the Covington 34.

Covington: Chargers fumble at about the 3. Rodriquez picks it up in the endzone. Alcoa 24, Covington 14, 9:16

Alcoa: Tornadoes try to draw the Chargers offsides on fourth and 2, but Covington doesn't bite. Alcoa timeout, then comes back out and goes for it at the 14. Russell is pressured, pass is high, broken up by Booker.

THIRD QUARTER

Alcoa: Jalen McCord comes up with rushes of 18 and 13 yards as Alcoa marches downfield.

Covington: Chargers get one first fdown, but are forced to punt. Alcoa takes over at its 25.

Alcoa: Nice defense by Jameron Olden to break up what would have been a 40-yard pass for Alcoa. Now he breaks up a 35-yard attempt to the end zone. Alcoa fumbles and McGarity recovers for the Chargers, who take over at their 32.

Covington: Gant burst out for 46 yards before Kareem Rodriquez catches up. A few plays later, Page dives over thee pile for a one-yard scoring run. Alcoa 17, Covington 14, 9:18.

SECOND QUARTER

Covington: Lomax escapes pressure 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage and ends up with nine yards of positive yardage. Chargers eventually forced to punt.

Alcoa: Conner Canfield and Quentin Booker come down fighting for it on a long ball. Tie goes to the offense, 45-yard pass to the 7 for Alcoa. Russell rushes a couple of times and scores on a one-yard sneak. Alcoa 17, Covington 7, 2:59

Covington: Chargers marched to midfield, but Davis Maples' pressure on Lomax turns into an interception for Jack Warwick. Alcoa takes over at its 34.
