The United Soccer Coaches Association recently named Baylor junior Avery Davis to the High School Girls All-South region team for the Fall 2017 season. The honor, considered one step below All-American, went to only 25 high school players in the South and only one from the Greater Chattanooga area.

Earlier this fall, the Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches Association named Davis the Most Valuable Player on the All-Region team and tapped her for All-State honors as well.

Davis scored 13 goals and assisted on 11 others this season, leading the undefeated Baylor squad to the state championship.
