Ravenwood topped Centennial 66-48 on Thursday night to enter the second half of District 11-AAA play tied with Franklin for second in league play.

Brentwood, which reached the Class AAA boys basketball state tournament a year ago, leads 11-AAA halfway through district play.

Here are three key boys games entering the second half of league play.

Players enter the students' celebratory tunnel after the Raptors beat the Centennial Cougars at Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn., on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018. Ravenwood won the District 11-AAA game 66-48.

Franklin at Ravenwood

When: Friday

Why: Franklin edged the Raptors 59-55 on Dec. 5 and a Rebels win gives them the tiebreaker if the two finished with the same league record. Franklin enters hot from the 3-point line, hitting 20 in a win over Spring Hill and 16 in a victory against Dickson County.

Centennial at Franklin

When: Feb. 2

Why: Franklin battled to a 72-67 win on Dec. 15 in their first meeting. With both teams fighting with Ravenwood for a top-two finish in District 11-AAA, the second meeting will help decide the top of the league standings.

Centennial at Brentwood

When: Feb. 9

Why: Centennial handed the Bruins a 58-57 defeat on Jan. 9 for the Bruins' lone league defeat. Centennial, which is fourth in league play, can help its own cause in climbing the league standings with a sweep of Brentwood.
