BLOUNTVILLE, Tenn. -- Some coaches want an easy game to get their teams ready for the playoffs. Not Sullivan Central girls basketball coach Kristi Walling.

The newly-crowned Three Rivers regular season champion and number-one seeded Lady Cougars prepared for the upcoming District 1-AA tournament with a stern test Monday night against visiting non-conference foe Greeneville. The Greene Devils pulled out a 59-57 victory in a thrilling contest that had the feel of a postseason showdown on Senior Night at the Dickie Warren Dome.
