Hoops: Glover, Garland and Johnson earn TSWA All-State honors

Reese Glover of Franklin and Brentwood Academy standouts Darius Garland and Camron Johnson were all named to the 2018 Tennessee Sports Writers Association All-State Boys Basketball Team.

Glover, a junior, led the Rebels to a Class AAA sectional appearance. Franklin finished with a 28-6 record.

Garland and Johnson completed a four-peat in their high school careers by leading the Eagles to another championship on March 3 and were named to the Division II-AA all-state team. BA wrapped up 25-5 season.

Garland and Johnson guided the Eagles to a 114-12 record with four championships in the last four years.

In Division II-A, Christ Presbyterian Academy’s Bryce McCormick was also recognized.
