West, Fair Lead Lady Cyclones Past Unicoi County

ERWIN, Tenn. – Maci West and Haley Fair combined for three home runs and nine RBI’s in Elizabethton’s Three Rivers Conference softball win over Unicoi County at the Lady Devil Diamond Wednesday afternoon.
West cranked a two-run homer in the first and a three-run job in the seventh while Fair went deep with two aboard in the sixth.
West finished 2-4 with a walk, three runs scored and five RBI’s while Fair plated four Lady Cyclone runs.
Hannah Edwards added a 3-for-5 effort with a run scored and two drive in. Kira Dillard finished 2-for-2, Maggie Johnson 2-for-4 while Lauren Brickey and Kaylin Shell were both 2-for-5 as Elizabethton piled up 14 hits.
The Lady Devils collected 13 hits in the contest, six off Lady Cyclone starter and winner Lauren Brickey. Brickey went 3 2/3 innings allowing two earned runs and striking out four.
Unicoi County’s Ashtan Vance had three hits, including a two-run homer in the fith. Grace Ann Clark, Halie Padget and Allee Griffin all had two hits. Clark drove in two runs.
