South Learning to Compete in New Large School Division

KINGSPORT, TN – Coaches in several sports at Sullivan South weren’t pleased the TSSAA’s new large-school/small school classification system.
Among those forced to compete with schools nearly twice their size for district honors were golf, tennis, cross country and track.
But once the shock subsided, the Rebels and Lady Rebels went to work.
Saturday at the Texas Roadhouse Dan Crowe/Tom Coughenour Relays, fruits of those labors were realized for coach John Wooten.
