Former Silverdale Academy Player Laney Bone Named NJCAA All-American

Laney Bone, former girls basketball player at Silverdale Academy in Chattanooga, finishing up her career at Cleveland State, was recently named third team all-American by the NJCAA.
 
Ms. Bone averaged nearly 15 points and 12 rebounds a game as she led the TCCAA in caroms and was fifth in scoring as she played in 23 games this past season. The Cougars finished 18-7 and were eliminated by Chattanooga State at the Region VII Tourney in Harriman.
