Pats score early and often as chunk plays pile up against Brighton

The Henry County High School Patriots totaled 283 yards offense while holding Brighton to 142 total yards for the game. 

HCHS ran for 121 yards, led by Evan Richardson and James Bobbitt with 41 and 38 yards, respectively. Martez Rack ran for 16 while DeMarccus Patton added 12 yards for Henry County. Reserve players added 15 more yards..

Caden Marshall was a perfect 4-4 for 133 yards and two touchdowns while Jacob Paschall was 3-5 for 29 yards.

Javion Boyd caught two passes for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Jaaron Lewis caught one pass for 16 yards while Lavon Tharpe got 13 yards on a single catch. Brock Archie and Peyten Littleton caught a pass each for 12 and 11 yards, respectively.

Henry County’s defense gave up 138 yards passing, while shutting down Brighton’s run game, holding the Cardinals to negative yardage on the ground.

Rack recorded three solo tackles and three assisted tackles while Landon Sanders had two solo tackles and three assisted tackles. Patton added two solo tackes and one assisted tackle. 

Numerous other Patriots recorded tackles.
