Carter County continued to be well represented in this week’s Tennessee AP Prep Football poll.
In Class 4A, Elizabethton moved into a tie for second with Upperman as both teams tallied 111 points. The Cyclones were just 19 points behind No. 1 Pearl-Cohn.
Hardin County came in at No. 4 while Elizabethton’s Week 11 foe Greeneville came in at No. 5.
In Class 2A, Hampton and Happy Valley continued to receive votes. The Bulldogs were 16 points behind No. 10 Lewis County, while the Warriors were 24 points behind.
York Institute and Marion County held down the top two spots.
In Class A, Cloudland also received votes in this week’s poll. The ‘Landers were seven points behind a tie for No. 10 between Collinwood and Oliver Springs.
South Pittsburg and Dresden came in at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.
