Happy Valley picked up a pair of district wins on Friday night.
The Warriors took a 67-48 victory over Johnson County, while the Lady Warriors took a thrilling 63-62 win over the Lady Longhorns.
In the boys’ game, Happy Valley was able to jump out early. HV pushed out to a 12-point halftime lead and then was able to secure the win by keeping the Longhorns at bay.
TJ Good had 20 points to lead the way. Darian Jackson and Dylan Furr scored 10 points for the Warriors.
Jack Csillag had 13 points to lead Johnson County.
In the girls’ game, the Lady Warriors rallied to take a thrilling win. After trailing 40-23 at the half, HV outscored Johnson County 20-9 in the third quarter to close the gap.
The teams traded shots in the fourth quarter and extra period with the Lady Warriors coming out with the win.
Cayden Anderson led the way with 26 points, while Marcida Moore scored 16 points.
Izzy Thompson led Johnson County with 17 points, while Mackenzie McClain and Aubree Glenn had 11 points apiece.
