GATE CITY, Va. — Eli McMurray made a trio of 3-pointers, leading a balanced effort as Gate City earned its 11th straight win with a 60-43 victory over Daniel Boone. Gunner Garrett added nine points, and Bo Morris eight.
Clay Rowland (13) and Tim McGonigle (9) led the Trailblazers.

Science Hill 69, Unicoi County 67
ERWIN — Sophomore guard Jackson Simmons joined Unicoi County’s 1,000-point club in the third quarter, but Science Hill overcame it with senior Brady Lawson.
The Hilltoppers erased an 11-point deficit in the fourth to avenge their November home loss, rallying past Unicoi County for their 10th consecutive win. Lawson stole the show late, especially in the final frame where he knocked down three of his seven 3-point baskets. He finished with 32 points to lead the Hilltoppers. Oliver Peterson hit from deep three times himself en route to a 16-point night, with Jabriel Fain adding nine points.
Simmons buried five 3s of his own and finished the night with 1,009 points in his young career, and the Blue Devils led 57-46 after three quarters. Kolby Jones added 16 points, and Kaden Cutlip had eight.
West Greene 63, Happy Valley 51
MOSHEIM — The Buffaloes withstood Happy Valley’s rally in the third quarter and placed four in double figures. Conner Campbell led the way with 20 points, followed by Brocke Winstead (13), Ayden Lamons (12) and Mason McCamey (10).
Darian Jackson had 15 points to lead the Warriors.
Sullivan East 67, Cloudland 23
ROAN MOUNTAIN — Tyler Cross and Zach Johnson both scored 12 points to lead the Patriots’ balanced effort, combining to hit three times from deep. Ryan Hurley had 10 points, with Drake Fisher and Eli Hubbard both scoring eight.
Cooper Smith had eight for the Highlanders.
Chuckey-Doak 80, Cherokee 56
ROGERSVILLE — Christian Derry recorded another double-double, 27 points and 11 rebounds, to lead the Black Knights. Isaiah Treadway (13) and Nicholas Palazzo (12) joined him in double figures.
Colten McLain led the Chiefs with 13 points, Elisha Jones had 12 and Gavin Lawson 11.

Science Hill 53, Unicoi County 51
ERWIN — Lexi Green and Khloe Sommers rallied Science Hill to victory in the fourth quarter, after the Lady Hilltoppers had trailed 40-34 entering the frame. Green made four 3-pointers and scored 13 of her 16 points in the final period. Sommers finished with a team-high 17, and Clara Crowe had eight, as the Lady ‘Toppers ended their five-game skid.
Allie Lingerfelt hit from deep three times and led Unicoi County with 17 points. Faith Bennett added 16, and Noell Farnor eight.
Daniel Boone 75, Gate City (Va.) 55
GATE CITY, Va. — The Lady Trailblazers improved to 6-0 since the return of Andrea Flores, who dropped 20 points Saturday. She went 5-of-6 at the foul line and hit from 3-point range three times. Kyleigh Bacon added 17 points, Lillie Walters made three 3s in the fourth quarter to finish with 13.
Jaydyn Carrico led Gate City with a game-high 26, going 12-of-13 at the foul line. Adrianna Lane had 10, and Myah Carrico nine.
Cloudland 66, Sullivan East 30
ROAN MOUNTAIN — Makinna Shell scored 10 third-quarter points to finish with 16 for the second-ranked Lady Highlanders, who are now 20-0 for the season. Izabella Christman hit four field goals in the opening frame, ending with 14 points. Ryan Turbyfill buried three triples on her 13-point night, and Abby Clawson added eight points.
Asia Cairns led the Lady Patriots with 13 points.
Happy Valley 25, West Greene 20
MOSHEIM — The Lady Warriors turned to their defense to grab their second conference win. Marcida Moore led the way with 10 points.
Joie Shipley had 10 for West Greene.
Chuckey-Doak 58, Cherokee 44
ROGERSVILLE — Kennedy Brown led another balanced effort for the Lady Black Knights with 10 points. Carlene Bishop and Tavyn Southerland both had eight, as 12 players scored for Chuckey-Doak.
Ava Morgan made two 3-pointers and led the Lady Chiefs with 14 points, while Brooke Nelson added nine.
