Stone Memorial junior Cade Capps has been named as a finalist for the prestigious 2024 Mr. Basketball Award for Class 3A in Tennessee.
Other finalists for the award include Tyler Lee of Fulton High School and Trey Thompson of Greeneville.
Capps is averaging just over 30 points per game, along with eight rebounds, two steals and 2.3 assists. He is shooting 50% from the floor and 36% from beyond the arc.
The Mr. and Miss Basketball Awards will be presented to the top girls and boys in six classifications of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association on the floor of Murphy Center on the campus of MTSU on Tuesday, March 12 at 5 p.m. The event will be open to the public.
