The Loudon High School basketball team battled back in the second half to best District 5-3A and cross-country rival Lenoir City High School 58-55 Friday, Feb. 9, inside LHS’ gymnasium. The win marks the first time Loudon’s boys have swept the Panthers in the regular season since 2020.

While Lenoir City had the advantage early on and even held a lead going into the third quarter, the momentum shifted as the night progressed. Loudon junior Jayden Capshaw started to find his stride and led the way — finishing with 22 points.
