The Region 1-A Girls’ Championship has a new home.
Cloudland’s title game matchup with North Greene has been moved to West Ridge High School in Blountville from Cosby High School.
The game is still set for a 7p tipoff on Wednesday night.
After the two District 1-A teams won both semifinal match-ups on Monday, the schools were allowed to move the championship game to an alternate site.
Cosby hosted Monday’s action and will host the remainder of the boys’ tournament – barring a District 1 sweep on Tuesday.
It will be the fourth meeting this season between the two teams with Cloudland taking all three previous meetings. The winner will host a Saturday substate game, while the loser will have to travel for their substate game.
