Milan, McKenzie Football to Participate in ‘Sight Bowl’, Friday

Posted

The Milan Lions Club is hosting the annual ‘Sight Bowl’ this Friday night between the Bulldogs of MHS and the defending Class 1A state runners-up, the McKenzie Rebels. The scrimmage game is at Johnnie Hale Stadium, Milan at 5 p.m.

This year marks the 11th anniversary for the game, that has raised over $10,000 to purchase prescription eye glasses for the less fortunate in the 38358 area code.

Following the game, the Lions Club will serve meals to each member of both teams.

Admission is $5 per individual or $10 for a family unit. Donations to the Vision Care program will also be accepted.

Concessions will also be available for fans attending the game, which conclude spring workouts for the Bulldogs.

TSSAA allows each school 10 practice sessions and one scrimmage each spring.
