Cloudland was unable to extend the season on Tuesday night.

The ‘Landers were unable to keep pace with a hot offensive attack in a 76-32 decision to North Greene in the Region 1-A Semifinals at Cosby.

With the loss, Cloudland sees their season come to a close, while North Greene advanced to Thursday’s Region 1-A Championship against the winner of University School and Cosby.

The ‘Landers had to battle back from an early deficit.

Cooper Smith and Morgan added shots as CHS was able to trim the gap to 23-12 at the end of the first quarter.

Smith and Morgan stopped the NG run, but Cloudland was unable to take a big chunk out of the North Greene lead as the Huskies led 50-25 at the break.

Nick Caraway scored four points in the third quarter, but CHS was unable to get anything going despite a hard-fought effort.

Smith and Morgan led Cloudland with 12 points apiece. Caraway added 6 points.
