Cloudland pulled away for a win on Monday afternoon.
The Lady ‘Landers took a 15-3 win over Happy Valley on Warrior Hill on Monday. It was Cloudland’s first game of the season.
CHS jumped out to a 4-0 lead after an inning of play and added a single run in the top of the second and two more in the top of the third to take a 7-0 lead. HV, however, battled back with three runs in the bottom of the third to close the gap.
Cloudland took control in the top of the fourth with six runs.
Reagan Turbyfill went 3-for-4 with two RBI for Cloudland, while Izabella Christman finished the game 2-for-3 with three RBI. Saharra McKinney and Ryan Turbyfill each added two hits for the Lady ‘Landers.
Aleah Grindstaff and Makayla Miller each had a hit for the Lady Warriors.
