Bolivar has hired its new football coach.

Rennard Woodmore has been tabbed as the Tigers’ new coach. The school announced the hire on social media Thursday.

The Tigers went 6-4 last season under Hayden Williams, who left in January to take the coaching job at Humboldt. The Tigers went 9-20 under Williams, including a season-ending 76-20 win over Liberty.

Woodmore spent the last five seasons at Scotts Hill and was let go in February. The Lions were 20-32 under Woodmore and went 3-7 in 2023. Woodmore was replaced by Harold Hooper, the school announced on March 15.
