Keith Hodge is the new football coach at McKenzie.

Hodge is replacing Wade Comer, who stepped down from McKenzie after 23 seasons to take over the head coaching role at Milan.

Hodge's hiring was announced in a social media post from the school on Monday.

In his last three seasons at Dresden, Hodge's program went 31-8, including 14-1 in 2023 with a semifinal loss to McKenzie.

Hodge had previously coached at Dresden from 2009-13 and stepped down to take over the football coaching job at Murray County High School in Kentucky.

In 2021, Hodge returned to Dresden after coach Wes Johnson took over at McNairy Central.

Dresden's high-powered offense, which gained over 5,600 yards in 2023, featured four players on the All-West Tennessee First Team, including first team quarterback Cameron Schlicht.

The Lions open the season at 7 p.m., Aug. 22 on the road against Westview.
