Jaylen King and Cole Doyle are slated to split reps at quarterback with the offensive starters at East Tennessee State’s spring game Friday night 7 p.m. at Greene Stadium.

King, a sophomore who transferred from Gardner-Webb when Tre Lamb was named ETSU coach, will be on the field first with the Blue team. He has the advantage of being well familiar with the offense. Doyle, a redshirt senior who transferred from St. Francis, was the Northeast Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2022.
