During a live broadcast on the Golf Channel Wednesday afternoon, ETSU women's golf learned where they would be headed for the NCAA Regionals - and that place is Auburn, Alabama.

The broadcast unveiled the 72 teams and which of the six regional locations they would be headed to - and in just the second site revealed, ETSU came in as the No. 11 seed in the Auburn Regional, which is set to tee off at the Auburn University Club on May 6.

The Bucs solidified an automatic bid to postseason play and qualified for the NCAA Regional after winning the Southern Conference Championship last week.

This marks ETSU’s first NCAA Regional appearance since 2021 when the Bucs went to Raton Rouge, La., before the regional was cancelled following unplayable course conditions - while ruining their chances of winning. Overall, it is the sixth NCAA Regional appearance for the program and second at the Auburn University Club where the Bucs played in 2013.

The other squads taking the same course as the Bucs are South Carolina, Auburn, Oregon, Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan, Houston, Tulsa, Miami (Fla.), Kennesaw State and Albany - with South Carolina being tabbed as the top seed.

At the end of region play in a couple weeks, the top five teams from each regional and low individual not on an advancing team qualify for the NCAA Championship, which will be held at Omni La costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif. on May 17-22.
