Diamond Shines in Lady ‘Topper Senior Day Win Over Sullivan East
Maddie Diamond’s three-run homer ended Science Hill’s 15-4 Senior Day win over Sullivan East Monday afternoon at Kiwanis Park.
The blast capped a 3-for-3 day by the junior, who also singled, doubled, drove in six runs and scored three times.
Kaylee Oler and Lora Wilgus both finished 3-for-5 with Oler scoring four runs and Wilgus roping a double and driving in three runs. Kaylee Pickering doubled, drove in a run and scored a run and Reagan Carroll batted in two runs.
Senior Beth Pridemore scored three runs and senior Madelyn Kelly had one hit and a run scored while picking up the win in the circle.
Kelley worked the first three innings, allowing three hits, two earned runs and striking out three. Chloe Conner worked the last three for the save.
Addison Holly doubled twice and Raquel Del Prete drove in two runs for the Lady Patriots (8-24). Sullivan East hosts Cloudland on Wednesday.
