Incoming Tennessee basketball transfer Igor Milicic arrived in Knoxville on Tuesday two weeks after committing and a week after signing with the Vols.

The Charlotte transfer chose Tennessee over a top group that included Baylor and Nebraska. The 6-foot-11 stretch forward took a visit to all three schools before committing to the Vols.

Milicic played his freshman season at Virginia before transferring to Charlotte and playing two seasons for the 49ers. As a junior, Milicic averaged 12.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. He was an efficient scorer, shooting 49% from the field and made 56 three-pointers at a 38% clip.

Playing in the American Athletic Conference last season, Charlotte played three ranked teams. Milicic totaled eight points and six rebounds against Duke, 13 points and five rebounds against Florida Atlantic and eight points and five rebounds against South Florida.

Transfer portal rankings vary on Milicic. He’s ranked as a four-star and the No. 230 player according to 247sports while EvanMiya.com ranks Milicic as a four-star transfer and the No. 189 player in the transfer portal.

Milicic is one of Tennessee’s three transfer signees as of date including Hofstra wing Darlinstone Dubar and Ohio State center Felix Okpara. Milicic is the first transfer to arrive on campus doing so Tuesday.

Tennessee released a video of Milicic arriving on campus and meeting with assistant coaches Rod Clark, Justin Gainey and Gregg Polinsky as well as Director of Basketball Operations Mary-Carter Eggert and FCA chaplain Chris Walker.
