In the first half of Greeneville boys soccer's Region Final match against David Crockett last week, the Greene Devils suffered a major loss to their defensive back line when senior Brandon Rogers went down with a series leg injury.

The injury ultimately put Rogers in a wheelchair, unable to finish out his senior season in the chase for a state championship.

While the Greene Devils had enough motivation going into this year after falling in the state final a year ago, they now have some added fuel to play for Brandon.

News 5's Lauren Bradford has the story.
