Millington Star Sports Week

It's playoff time for the TSSAA Fall Sports in Volleyball. Soccer will be on tap for next week. The soccer regular season concluded with the Bartlett Lady Panthers beating the Millington Lady Trojans. Both teams will return to the Bartlett Soccer Complex next week for the District 14-3A Tournament. In volleyball action, the Millington Lady Trojans advanced with a win over the Cordova Lady Wolves. In District 13-3A action, the Brighton Lady Cardinals took on the Dyer County Lady Choctaws in a five-set thriller. Dyer County advanced to play the defending champs Munford Lady Cougars. Led by MVP Cecily Gable, the Lady Cougars won the title again in four sets over the Lady Choctaws.
