HARTSELLE, Alabama -- Reigning Class 1A-5A state golf champion Arin Eddy of Hartselle signed with Samford on Monday.
Eddy shot a 9-over-par 153 at Grand National in Opelika to win medalist honors this past spring and help lead the Tigers to their fourth straight state crown.
Other highlights from her junior season included first-place finishes at North 1 sub-state and the TOC tournament. She was named to the Huntsville Times All-Area first team.
Eddy finished 12th at last year's state tournament and fifth in 2010.
