HHS girls tennis team makes state

Hartselle High School’s girls tennis team finished in second place in the Class 5A sectional tournament at Russellville and qualified to compete in the State Tournament at Point Mallard in Decatur April 22-23.
Jordan Barbrey won the No. 5 singles position, and she and Katy Beth Bole won the No. 2 doubles position.
“We were really hoping for a first place finish at sectionals,” said head coach Regina Hudson. “However, we’re very proud of the wins we got and we’re glad to advance to state.”
