No problem, I like meeting new people, especially GOOD people. FYI- The Apple (Chase) didn't fall too far from the tree. Both of y'all are class acts and very respectable people. Just wanted to associate a face with a name. Hopefully my boys will eventually be half as successful as Chase has been on the mat, but MUCH more importantly, be the type of Man and Person that you and Mrs. Brown have raised.

In fact, Bradley has had at LEAST one State CHAMPION every year since 1993. (7 years before this year's Seniors were BORN!)

If there was combined division state tournament, not sure Whitworth or Emory would have been in finals. Dezember from LCHS pinned Whitworth this season and Williams of LCHS beat Emory as well.. Not sure many are aware of the strength of LCHS lower weights. They finished 4th and 3rd respectively.

Still coming around to the fact that my older boy #24 is done with the Heritage loss to Cheatham. Feels a little better that Cheatham was able to take our Harpeth though. Props to their coaches for not having them quit down 20 vs Heritage and not allowing them to be satisfied either as they took on Harpeth. Going into the tourney I was thinking WHH v Sycamore final. I got Sycamore tonight. Youth and size over experience.

Twofdr: yes, you are correct in that initially Gabe does pull his hand back and refused to shake Hunters hand(7:34-7:35 mark of film) after Borders tries to initiate the handshake. But, if you watch til the end when the comotion/discussion has ended, Gabe does shake Borders hand, MAYBE EVEN TWICE). First time (I think, but difficult to be 100%) is at 9:40 mark and the 2nd time( 100%) is at the 9:48 time of the film. Just pointing out what I saw.

The level of competition solely based off Lynch and Boeck's Trackwrestling profile are drastically different.

Again, to be completely fair...I just re-watched the 113 match...Gabe most definitely refused to shake WCs hand. I still won’t indict the young man, here....I will put the blame on asst coach’s antics and say Gabe just caught up in it moment, as well....and simply followed his lead. This may be just what I want to believe, lol

Why is no one talking about Ty Boeck of Soddy? He was undefeated state champ and he won the McCallie invitational. He had a very impressive season. Was there anyone else in AAA that finished the year undefeated?

If we had an all combined division tournament you would have had both Palmer and Chittum in the finals at 20 and at 26 it would have been Noah and Whitworth. 6 it would be Bates and Morris but Uhorchuk is a wildcard that would most likely beat one of them to make the finals. At 13, Emory most likely makes the finals. There is a ton of talent at those lower weights between those 2 teams. Head to head matchup between both teams at the low weights would be a lot of fun. . When they wrestled at the Cleveland Duals, McCallie didn’t have Chittum and they put Braman at 6 so we didn’t get any of these head to head match ups.

Khyla dominated, and it was impressive... 17 points 14 rebounds 10 blocks and a district championship. I saw her play with more urgency tonight that I have in the previous games. I was very impressed tonight. McNairy needs to put this behind them now and make sure they don't get upset by Obion in the first round of the region. McNairy is good, but Obion is capable of coming in there and stealing a win. Good luck!

You are right. Creasy would have gotten gold out of that team. Our new coach had to break some bad habits from our gas guzzler coach.

He had a CT scan and it was determined he has a bad concussion and pulled muscles in his neck, but luckily no other issues with his neck. We have really appreciated everyone's prayers, calls and texts. He was determined to come back and get that medal.

I been reading this thread for awhile,but I'm over it. Sounds like things aren't going well with the WB football program: players leaving, players quiting, so and so on. Some posters seem to relish this situation and find it an easy target for poking fun and generally making WB and their athletes the brunt of mostly bad jokes. Maybe some of you have someone standing over you browbeat ing your every short coming. Sure sounds like it. Why don't ya go visit a cancer ward at a children's hospital and get some new material.
