Goal line call was blown. Stripes definitely missed that one. I've got to say the fumble recovery was a good call (I know what the replay showed and it should've been a downed ball) but the call was made in real time and maybe slightly out of position to see the knee down. Just saying.

I think you are on to something with this prophecy. Catholic really can't win. If they win the game I look for them to be moved to Privates after next season.

Some of you guys are really doing a disservice to the young men from both teams . This thread is about 2 teams playing for a State Championship , not about public / private crap . Start a different thread and let these young kids from Catholic and Beech be able to come on here and see something about the game instead of this crap .

Dynasties are usually regarded as experiencing consistent success at winning championships over a specific period of time. The 30 years between 1987 and the present definitely disconnects that team from any dynasty that might emerge at Greenback today. Also, dynasties win championships rather than simply appear in them. If they can put multiple gold balls in the trophy case within the next few years, then they can think about calling themselves a dynasty. I am in no way trying to be rude or show a lack of respect. I just find it laughable that this team that has no gold balls in 30 years thinks it is so much better than everyone else.

I must say, after quietly reading these pages from day to day, that it really takes the cake on how some posters on the T gives "No Respect" (calling for 21 pts +) to a team that has worked hard, came out of no where, and handed it - decisively - on Defense to THE BEST high powered Offenses the West had to give to them.... AND that they (GB) themselves have been beaten, 1 year BADLY (NCS), in each Championship they made a run too...... A little Humble Pie and Respect would have went a long way in making this thread for another Greenback run to the top a little more enjoyable to read and A Lot more Respect given to them........ But,....... Nah.

The PC guys (FIREBIRD80 and fbgirl26) are fun to pick at and go back and forth with. But at the end of the day they love their team (which was darn good) and are high character guys. Much respect!!!

Saw the injury in the Greenback game ,the kid was ALL heart to try to lead his team. His play over the 4 years was nothing more than outstanding. I think the right kid got the award and I've had my doubts in the past. Congrats to all the kids nominated and lots of others who was deserving as well.
