Not to Far off South Greene, North Greene, and West Greene were all built in the 60's. Chuckey-Doak is the only one that has a New High School. Alot of close Knit communities that want to stay Close Knit, don't want kids to get lost in the cracks, Bus routes taking 2.5 hrs just to get you to a central school, what to do with the middle schools that get shut down when they turn the high schools into middle schools, teachers getting laid off, taxes going up, etc. Greene County is over 200 sq. miles larger than Sullivan county and combing ALL the county school is going to be tougher than combining 3 Sullivan County Schools.

That district is loaded, so someone had to stay home. The loser's bracket final between Ravenwood and Indy was a pretty great game, from what I heard. It was a back and forth game, with Ravenwood notching back-to-back RBI singles wtih 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th to win it.

For those who have not heard, Dave Sommers wife, Cheryl, has stage 4 cancer. Dave and his family have been involved in wrestling in TN for several years. She is currently undergoing treatment. All prayers for them are greatly appreciated.

Thanks wrestling family! Coach Bray is definitely like family in many ways. That said, thanks for the prayers for my bride of 36 years. Mother of 10, 11 grandbabies and 2 on the way including 3 young wrestlers, one named Rocky. We believe she has the fight in her to win this battle and with the Great Physician no way she loses.
