  1. FOX News just announced the Mueller team will be investigating the TSSAA and Eagleville High School for possible collusion with the Russians which could have influenced the outcome of this game.

  2. I really appreciate the invite. I hate that I'm going to miss it, but I should've known that I spoke too soon (w/too much bravado....I swear she has a 6th sense) for my plans to work out. I serve multiple bosses....the least of which signs my paychecks. That one has me not coming back until too late on Friday to get there. I'll have to catch it on Diamond Clear. Thank The Good Lord for those guys at Diamond Clear!!! I wish all the F5 fans the best Friday night! May the best team win. Late lunch is over....I hear that master calling again.....

  3. Listen the fact you think creasy can't coach is your opinion the record and facts show he wins, he played under coach sharp at Lewis county, he coached under Clint Satterfield which is 2 hall of fame coaches and imo creasy is headed in the same direction, just because a coach is a players coach doesn't mean he doesn't control the team. Creasy left TC for a boat load of more money and to get out of clints shadow, he wants to prove he can do it by himself and you can't hate on a man because of that.

  8. Update on the book: the publication date for Eight Hateful Miles is set for September 14 (yes, I've been extremely frustrated that it wasn't released before the Marion/South Pitt game, but that was out of my hands). For everyone who has messaged me to pre-order, I still have your contact info and will reach out to let you know when I get my first shipment, and will get those out to you ASAP. We are planning to have a display booth at the game this Friday to take orders (if you've already ordered, no need to do so again, this is for folks who haven't had a chance to do so yet). The book is also now available (for pre-order) on Amazon.com as well as online at Barnes & Noble and through the publisher freshinkgroup.com. There will be both hardback ($40 for this commemorative edition) and soft cover choices ($30 for soft cover). It wound up being 452 pages, with more than 150 photos and the foreword is by Phillip Fulmer. Sorry for the delay, but hopefully you guys will like the finished product. Also, once I get the shipment, we will plan to have a book party at Stevarinos (will let you know the date as soon as we set it). Copied this from his FB page...

  11. Station Camp was horrible last year and WC won 38-28.... They are at least better than they were last year. I don't know if I can say that about WC.

  19. It seems like you have something personal with Creasy but he is a better coach than what we have now the offense would not have had bad play calling and far as friendship goes this coach lost last year to friendship everyone that lives here makes fun of TC that's not big deal if he leaves Oakland and comes back here im sure he would be welcomed with open arms

  20. Ha. I highly doubt that. You don't go to the BlueCross Bowl and then pop up at Kings Academy a year later. That would have had his career going in reverse. He may not have been officially fired but something fishy was going on.

  21. Man I really dont like to talk crap but last years thread had them winning by 3 touchdowns the WHOLE thread. We beat them and then it was blamed on refs and other stuff like coach should have thrown or something like that. But I hope in all honesty they look down on our qb the last time that happened he had a career night. I checked weather this morning in Sequatchie county was 40 % chance. With that storm hitting florida may get something nasty in all honesty.

  25. 02 team consisted of Mr. Football T.T. Harper and Wesley Satterfield along with a Hard Nosed Sr Class and some talented underclassmen. Reason you didnt see them is because TC played 3A at that point. Lost to Knoxville Fulton in Semifinals in OT. Being that i played on the '05 team you would think i would be biased towards that team but IMO 97 & 98 were the 2 best teams to come through yet. Miss seeing you around Croz.

  26. Wrapup show from last week. I don't know who all contributes to this, but it is so well done. Clips, interviews. Kids get some airtime. Very impressive!

  27. Traveling out of state really depends on the high school program. Some head coaches want the possible national exposure for both the players and the coaching staff while others truly don't care. I have always been one that wanted to compete on the biggest stage possible but others are content to only compete in their community. One is not better than the other it's just a matter of what direction the head coach wants to take his program. The major advantage of playing some of the top programs in the country early in the season is that they will expose each and every weakness on your team. This allows you to correct the mistakes before you get to the playoffs.

  29. Honestly no one knows except keyvont coach Waggoner and DOS Satterfield, I have heard many different answers, so don't be surprised if you see him next week but don't be surprised if you don't see him lol

  30. Should be a good game the first half. Howard doesn't have much depth and it will show in the 4th quarter. Skill players are just as fast/quick as the Rams. Tyner should win by 17.

  32. I would guess SP has an average 40-50% of its fan base show up weekly. Less than that during lean years. Spoiled fan base for sure. Mindset is play for Gold or go home. Even on strong years when the team has a chance for a special year most only show for the big games and then again in 3rd & 4th rounds. It is just the beast that coach Grider created. Hopefully he throws his anchor down and never leaves. With social media being what it is today no coach deserves to have to follow in his foot steps

  33. Actually, that was a mistake. Autocorrect. If you've paid attention, you would know that I've never done that on here, and I have no need to start now.

  35. Waverly from video can and will score on any team from what I've seen. Type of team where you hope for a shootout out and hope your D stops their offense once more then their D stops you.

  37. RR you're good in my book and I'm a RFL until the day I die. They can talk all they want though about Maryville this, Maryville that. I'd say they have enough Maryville alumni as administrators over there to be called Maryville Lite as far as I'm concerned.

  40. I think everyone can probably say they have made dumb life choices. This is a good kid. Never been in trouble before. And before anyone casts any stones on this kid, know this kid has been through stuff most of us never will encounter for a lifetime. It’s not an excuse for his bad choice but he’s a kid.

  43. This game never disappoints. My cousin played for Clinton in 1998, and I remember me and my Mamaw went and picked him up after the game and both teams had just gotten in a brawl after the game. I will never forget that haha. Heated rivalry.
