On offense they have great speed and they like to run to the out side. They also like to run a QB draw. They also like to throw little slant passes. They are big and fast. Nothing we havent seen. Defense they have great LB. I think Waverly will be able to throw the ball very well against them which will open up our running game. They have great special teams also. They are really good. We are very good also. Its going to be loud in Trenton tomorrow they have very loud fans. I think we win by two TDs.

Well this is the 2A semifinal I picked back in April. I named Peabody and Waverly as favorites to get to Cookeville. Now it’s time for me to narrow it on down. Waverly has some terrific athletes. But I’m taking Peabody in this game. Peabody 35 Waverly 21

roy doctor coach clint put an embargo on turkeys coming into trousdale county 2 durn weeks ago. he said that those turkey was all full of drugs like trip toe van and it would make our boys slow and sleepy. i tried to tell doctor coach Clint that a van isn’t even a drug. even though he was right about them being slow and that you could sleep in them. you can’t tell these doctors nothing I guarantee.

The other day when I mentioned that Everett could start a Single A Football team since enough kids are going there I would just about bet anyone one of the reasons they wouldn't consider it is because 2 of their wins would be against Heritage and William Blount.

After watching the Dresden players highlights from this year’s LC game it’s hard to take anyone serious proclaiming the Falcon’s superior defensive team speed unless all 11 starters were out that game.

For sure not just a place to go watch a football game (although that's great too). If you enjoy hunting, fishing, photography, or just being outdoors, there's nowhere to top it. Probably not for everyone as much as myself, but I love it up there.

If there is any positive from the county in football it has to be Rick Young's great ability to get a large number of kids out for Middle school football. I also have disagreed with putting the two together but there was a danger at one time one of the school's were close to having to give up football because there just wasn't enough kids coming out. I guess in hindsight I would take what their doing as for one of the schools to be without. Rick has done a great job and I hope he never gets tired of it and coaches for a long time. The county is very fortunate to have him as a middle school coach.

Because every game is scripted along with every play. Out of curiosity if we were to beat Trousdale by 14 does that mean by your own standards we would beat Watertown by 28+ ?

Not my kid at all but if rankings are not something to talk about then what is the purpose for them to be done if the hidden rule is do not discuss the rankings.

I don't think they will try to out-athlete Meigs but we will have the best athlete on TC sideline but #8 is just a very good all-state QB that runs with speed and has power. I hope this is the first of two games between Meigs vs TC in the future. At the end of the day both teams have had a great season and yes hopefully both teams leave this game with no injuries

In Waverly’s 3 losses to Huntingdon, Fairview, and Davidson Academy, they gave up atleast 49 points.... Peabody may score 80 on them next week!!!!!!!
