After all these other crappy rankings I have decided to just do my own! I have spent countless hours in my moms basement getting everything together so like the College Football Playoffs here is the unveil! Christian Brothers Arlington Germantown Houston Father Ryan Wilson Central Summit Clarksville Centennial Rossview no questioning these rankings, these are the rankings that everyone should be using getting ready for State duals that way these schools can grow bigger by being able to use their rankings! I also would like to thank my mom for allowing me over my usual hour a day screentime!

If what you are claiming is 100% true then my thoughts are as follows: Forfeiting weight classifications & taking a loss is unacceptable behavior on the part of any coaching staff when they have wrestlers that could have competed. I have absolutely no problem with someone sending out JV wrestlers to gain some experience if the match results will not affect your team. However, forfeiting when you have healthy wrestlers is unacceptable. The fact that someone would pull the stunt of charging admission (even $1.00) is not right and the patrons have a legitimate reason to be upset.

I seriously doubt that. If they can keep the coaching staff it will be more of the same. The culture is there to stay. But saying Greeneville won’t be Greeneville is off imo. Ballard will still be around

If any of you HONESTLY believe that science hill did the right thing by not letting the kids they had wrestle, simply to “not get embarrassed” then you are making as much a mockery of our sport as SH is. How can you honestly say that jv kids shouldn’t wrestle cause they’re “just bait”. You can’t preach how much Tennessee wrestling needs to improve and how far off we are on a national level, and then say it’s ok to NOT give jv kids mat time. How are we gonna get better if we aren’t letting inexperienced kids have mat time? How are THEY gonna get better without mat time???? Y’all are acting like DB is some powerhouse that would just mangle them. Since when is DB an elite program you should be afraid of? I don’t care if it’s Baylor, Cleveland, CBHS... I don’t even care if it’s Blair or Seminary or Bergen..if you show up and you have kids who are healthy enough to wrestle..I don’t care how experienced they are.. it’s extremely disrespectful to not let them go get the mat time. It’s disrespectful to the kids cause you’re basically saying “sorry you’re not good enough to step in for one match”. It’s disrespectful to the other team who showed up and get this...ALSO wants and needs mat time. And it’s so disrespectful to the parents and fans who showed up to watch. They paid to watch the dual and then this happens. If I was a parent of one of the SH kids that was healthy and needed mat time, and my kid didn’t get to wrestle because they weren’t “experienced” enough, or because of a coaches grudge...I would be FUMING. And I’m already pretty upset at the situation. I cannot imagine how those kids and all the parents must feel.

I wish only the best for Chittum but I am only listing the kids wrestling for Tennessee high schools. We have other kids at out of state prep schools that are not being listed.

I beg to differ. 15A got power house teams. top 4 or 5 could make it to state most years.

Eagleville schedules all small schools for non region games, they will be okay.

There would be a revolt. He wasn’t good here before. No way. McEwen people want him gone but school politics prevent that from happening. We will get another up and comer like McConnell or a successful hometown person. We will get someone to spark our program and not the same ole. We need a finisher that will finish what matt started. These boys are hungry and will prove that this team hasn’t lost a thing.

I heard the kid that Science Hill sent out for the solo match had just started coming down with a fever and they were isloating him from the rest of their team. They sent him out sort of like the blankets infected with small pox that our government gave to the Native Americans. They then got the heck out of dodge to keep the rest of their team from becoming infected and he did not even ride the team bus back to Johnson City. Not looking good for DB for the next couple of weeks and the flu might hit them right when regionals are going down!

Looks like Stewart Co has made a statement should be fun for the next 3 weeks. i was hoping to see the Lions have a better show with East Hickman after 2 great games with LC and waverly. they have an oportunity to get one back friday.

Unless DIII pays better, I don't know that he has many options. Either way, it's best until Clint isn't the County School supervisor. No successful coach wants or needs that much help from a superintendent . With that said, Clint Satterfield is as good as they come and means well.

The TSSAA followed the letter of the law so to speak. Had they went by projected numbers the opposite could be happening. Which is a school with 2A numbers playing in 1A. The best remedy for this is have reclassification every 2 years.

PC recruits just like everyone else . So what they Never win the big games . You have to do some coaching with whatever kids you get when you face equal talent . It's the schools that can't win or program is declining that cries about recruiting. You have the mcgavock , hunterslanes , overtons, Antioch and etc . Which are the schools that aren't winning . It is what it Is and that's what it's coming to . CR wins and they are basically the same kids when parks was there . You still have to coach. And PC doesn't sell itself , you guys are at everyones feeder school games with your jackets and on everyone's social media . So you guys are out here promoting and inquiring. One coach liked everyone of my nephew's pictures on social media I guess letting him know he is interested . Pearl has had the most talent in the city and been the most disappointing as well. They are what they are . I'm stating all facts . All those city championships and D1 talent and yet no gold ball. Which comes down to what ...... Coaching

I disagree. I think polls serve a purpose to let the state know who the best teams are (of course). It also shows all the hard-work and dedication that goes into these programs each and everyday. Let the kids have something to be proud about. Coaches, players, and parents could carless, but the kids that play earned the opportunity to be recognized as the top teams in the state.

Saturday they play at Stone. That game will tell alot.

Stone was impressive, but the very young WC team hung with them throughout and actually could of won. Stone should take this district.

District play begins this week.
