Give PF 2 more years, no matter what class teams are in nobody will be calling them a joke. Was it a joke when Cleveland was the small school duals champion? Not to mention this is a A/AA thread. Looks like there's 2 foose's who don't have a clue.

Actually Dual is an adjective meaning having 2 parts Duel is a verb or a noun meaning a conflict between two entities. That's what Google says anyways....

Someone did this to me a couple of years ago. Made a bump 12, 13, and 14. Must say I got a good chuckle out of it.

Oh no, Foose claims he's a Blue Raider God. He was more of a bench warmer, but I remember when Cleveland was in the small school division like us (Maryville) in the early 90's so I wonder if those titles were jokes much the same as Pigeon Forge's recent crown.

Couple a years ago or so, Pigeon Forge beat The Brothers up in Johnson City in a dual. Foreman takes what he has..... a small school in the mountains that didn't even know there was amateur wrestling 15+ years ago and he has made them champions. Job well done Greg.

Congratulations Pigeon Forge and Coach Foreman! Maybe in the future you Mid TN homers won't believe in your hype so much and sleep on PF anytime soon.

Middle Tennessee is the MIDDLE of Tennessee so just because it’s convienant to have it in Chattanooga like you would like it it wouldn’t be convenient for easy Tennessee soooooo they put it in middle Tennessee so that it’s easier for everyone to get to PLUS the ag center lets us use their facilities for free so what’s better than free? But hey when next year rolls around and you make this same post AGAIN just remember they aren’t going to change it and the only people who agree with you are your fellow Chattanooga friends

I think they decide the winner before the region tournaments even start, so they can't factor in state tourney runs I don't think. That can help some athletes and hurt others

This is Miss Basketball and that's the top players in the state and sometimes things happen in games. That's the reason they keep stats in the Heisman and all other awards in every sport. Pull up TSSAA and see all the state stats through the years and it matters. The state tournament isn't here yet either.THIS IS MISS BASKETBALL AWARD and not state championship trophy. They are different awards.

Casey Collier is a great player from Webb. Seen her play a lot and she can play. Dontavia Waggoner is a great player from Ensworth and both these girls get my vote.

Ive seen Whitson play and is well deserving as Miss Basketball. This is a great accomplishment to break all time record and she will. Congratulations for your hard work. I seen where Dishman from Cumberland County scored over 2800 in the win at White County Saturday night. I think she will hit 3000 and only three girls in state has ever done that and all of them won Miss Basketball. Both these girls are great competitors and deserve to win.

Jabrea Johnson returned tonight in a limited role for D-B. Only scored two points. Knee was wrapped up pretty good. I would expect she will continue to be used very sparingly till the postseason. Was good to see her back on the court tonight however.

A buddy of mine told me both were going to be at Daniel Boone. Not sure how he knows that.

Well I think it's great to have a young man want to get into coaching..its changed so much through the years..the new generation needs to ease on in and fill us old timers spots..lol. My advice..although I think it's great getting your name on here but I would contact the coaches where you think you might want to coach..that way you may develop a favorite or maybe they would be willing to get you started or know someone that will?? Coaches know everybody in the field. Contrary to belief coaches are pretty good guys for the most part..lol..Good luck young man! Follow your dreams!

So I am new to the Tennessee scene... Do they decide ties by a one game playoff if head to head can't determine a winner like they do in Virginia? Also, does the regular season champ get an automatic region bid? If they do not do a one game playoff, what decides the regular season champ? You are correct though, DB and SH should not be challenged the rest of the way in district play. And DB won't go far in region play unless they get Jabrea Johnson back.

Looks like we will have a tie at the top SH defeats DB with the use of a zone to coral Whitson. DB didn’t seem to want to take open shots and forced it to Whitson too many times and passing up open shots. SH made just enough plays to get the win. The score won’t show how close this game was but it was a one possession game until about two minutes to go and SH made a couple baskets in a row. Now let’s just fast forward for round three.

Well. Tonight is basically the regular season championship. SH can gain a share or DB will win it outright. I am going to take DB in CLOSE GAME. If DB wins tonight that will be 3 in a row over SH going back to last year. DB better be ready for the press because what seemed to work well in the first meeting for SH which was about the only positive I saw in the game. Whitson had her way which I am sure she will tonight but she better have some help. SH will shoot better at home but I do not think that played into the loss at DB because they just got out muscled and lost 50/50 balls. Good luck to both teams!
