For sure! I had him round of 12 losing to Manuel. If he beats Henry he places I think. But I got Henry and then the loss to Manuel. But he’s definitely one to watch. I enjoy watching him and his brother. Both will be multiple time medalists

I think I read that district ties in which the teams split their head to head regular season meetings would be settled by a pre-season blind number draw. Bearden had the better number in the blind draw than Maryville so Bearden got the # 1 seed.

Who cares who gets called what? There was one man that said those words. You took it and ran with it. What happened between the Memphis games and the Adamsville/Scott's Hill game were different situations. Wooddale was vindicated. We all know that there is a totally different atmosphere in certain places in Memphis. Do the kids come out and watch Wooddale because they're proud of Wooddale? No, because 2-3 years ago there were more players from the opposing team on the bench than in the stands watching the games. Whitehaven has a great fan base and from what I've seen there hasn't been a problem with their fans. Whitehaven supporters are of the same demographic that Wooddale, Melrose, and Westwood crowds are. We all know that there are thugs and rednecks that need to stay home and quit causing problems for student-athletes and their supporters. You're new here. So our current HC, Blake Satterfield went to college at Sewanee University or The University of The South. He graduated High School from Trousdale. It's not easy to get into Sewanee. Basically you have to be very smart and have a high ACT score. I'd be willing to say he made a 30 or above on it. If you combined all Watertown's coaches ACT scores, would they even total a 30????? Asking for a friend!

No. This was the final poll. Frustrating for us but we do the best we can. As many on this site have said, the polls don't win you a gold ball but they do serve a purpose in getting recognition for young athletes. I'm sorry Manassas hasn't gotten theirs. I was able to nominate Catthadious Moore for Mr. Basketball & was glad he was named a finalist along with two great players from 14A.

The voting site for the AP poll has had Manassas in the wrong classification all year! Several voters sent them messages to fix the it but it never got done. So please blame the AP not its voters. We wanted to show them love!

A team will not ever get better playing a 2-3 zone. You play zone because you cant guard people. If you want to get better as a team you have to bite the bulllet and coach your girls up and teach them how to play man defense.

I have to agree with Durdon. I’ve already seen multiple people picking Clemmons, and I just don’t see it. Somehow Cannon is being extremely underestimated. The past two seasons he has lost to a total of two Tennessee wrestlers...Noah Horst and Brayden Palmer. I don’t see anyone in the bracket that comes close to the caliber of those two wrestlers. Cannon already pinned Witt last year. Medina also beat Witt at state before being teched by Cannon 19-0. The same Medina that beat Clemmons this year. I’d be surprised if Cannon doesn’t bonus point his way through the bracket. No offense to the other kids, but the gap between Cannon and the rest of the field seems pretty big to me. As long as Cannon’s healthy, I can’t picture another wrestler getting to the top of the podium.

Reed Cannon is going to walk through this bracket. It won’t even be close except for semi match with Witt. On the bottom side it’s going to be which one of the seniors, Devaney, Haney, or Mckeffery realizes this is their last time at the show. My guess it’s going to be Devaney. To outsiders looking in through CoachT vision, the coaching search appears to be done for show. It's unlikely Jeremy Pruitt or Derek Mason would have had a chance to get this job if the Superintendent's son wanted it. If the position did not have to be advertised since they were hiring within it never should have been. If the new coach was the slam dunk best fit for the program and already on the staff this should have been a easy and quick, drama free decision. Several adults wasted time and money travelling and interviewing for a position that had a predetermined outcome. Allowing the "list" to be published in a newspaper looks even worse now.

There was only three 138 pound wrestlers in that region. Sad
