  1. Blackman will host the Iron Man THIS Saturday, April 20th at Blackman High School. We work hard to put on a good tournament. Last year we had nearly 300 wrestlers (the most ever) and we had some awesome match-ups.

  2. There is no Greenville in the state of TN. Don't try and take away the hard work and dedication that the Devil's put in to get to where they are now. (It wasn't like that until the 2007 football season). The inner city teams we have have played weren't any competition either and I doubt a new Coach would have stopped a running clock on everyone in the play offs last year. I find it funny that MJ and Greeneville's coaching staff got together yesterday to swap ideas per Strength & Conditioning, Facilities, and Program Organization. It seems like your head coach has more respect for the Devil's than you do yourself and I quote from Coach Perry "It was our pleasure & honor to host the multi-state champ! State championships are not won by accident & this group of coaches knows what it takes to get it done! We learned a ton from you all! Thx again"

  3. Somebody told me Mt Juliet has a 5 star LB.I would love to see how he plays and compare him to Jacob Adams.I think Adams will be one of the best LBs in the state.I don't know if he will get any D1 offers but he is a beast of a high school player.Go Cats

  4. Your only fantasy is wishing your inferior program that you support would ever do anything of importance. Wasn't you already told to go back to your assigned area? Grown ups are talking.

  5. Lol. We do have grass and it holds up well. Our field plays well but we do not have seating capacity like many schools. I like ours due to fact that you are close to the action unlike those with running tracks around them. I’ve been to many places and will agree Huntingdon and SP both have very nice facilities. CA has a very nice place also. I’m not gonna call out any of the not so good places as many schools don’t have funding or support needed. I do respect all that play the game so I can enjoy watching......whether it’s a million dollar stadium or a cow pasture with a cable strung around it. I always carry my muck boots in case I need them. Never cared about wearing penny loafers to a football game anyway.

  6. I WOULD LIKE TO WISH AMBER THE BEST OF LUCK IN HER BEING NAMED THE GIRLS COACH AT FCHS OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT MYSELF THAT I DIDN'T KNOW FIRST I DIDN'T KNOW THE BASKETBALL WAS ROUND BUT I DID KNOW TO PUT FIVE PLAYERS ON THE FLOOR BUT FOR THOSE THAT DON'T KNOW ME. LET ME GIVE YOU A FEW THINGS THAT I DO KNOW ABOUT MYSELF. 1) WAS AN ASSISTANT FOR A NCAA COLLEGE BASKETBALL HALL A FAME MEMBER THAT HIRED ME 2) WHILE AT MOTLOW SENT 7 PLAYERS TO FINISH THEIR CAREER AT D1 SCHOOLS STILL HOLD THE RECORD FOR MOST WINS IN A YEAR STILL HAVE PLAYERS IN TOP 10 IN SEVERAL CATEGORIES ALSO STARTED THE SOFTBALL PROGRAM 3 ) IN SECOND YEARS AT LINCOLN CO WE WERE IN DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP GOT BEAT BY A TEAM THAT WENT TO STATE 4)AT GRUNDY COUNTY I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT I WAS THE LONGEST RUNNING COACH 10 OR 11 YEARS AND UNTIL THIS YEAR ONLY COACH TO GO TO BACK TO BACK REGIONS IN BOYS BASKETBALL 5) AFTER 30 YEARS OF COACHING THAT'S NOT BAD RECORD (LEFT OUT THE YEARS IN SOUTH DAKOTA) 6) YES IT WAS MY JOB IF I WANTED IT BUT I FELT IT WAS MORE IMPORTANT TO STAY WITH A TEAM THAT HAS WORK HARD THE LAST TWO YEARS TO CHANGE THE CULTURE OF THE SOFTBALL PROGRAM, YES LOOK AT THE WINS AND LOSES LAST YEARS SENIOR WON MORE GAMES IN ONE YEAR THEN THEY DID IN THE PREVIOUS 3 YEARS IS IT WINNING SEASON NO BUT I AM AS PROUD OF THEM AS I WOULD OF BEEN IF THEY 20 GAMES . THAT'S SOMETHING OTHER COACHES MIGHT UNDERSTAND AND JUST IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T FIGURED OUT WHO THIS IS MY NAME IS COACH MIKE HOLT I REFUSED TO HIDE BEHIND A NAME PS I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WORKING WITH COACH AMBER GEORGE GILLIAM!!!

  7. Hammer their all excited because Mr. Cupp upgraded their system from Shad 4.0 to the all new Shad 5.0 just recently. It's supposed to deliver 2 more wins from what all I heard down at Woody's BP the other day when I stopped in for some hot dogs.

  10. Just to play devil's advocate, WB lost (to graduation or transfer) 3 starting DBs, 2 starting LBs, a DL, at least 2 starting O linemen, starting TE, starting RB, and top 4 WRs. on a 3 win team. That's a lot to replace. As far as other sports success, which teams specifically are you thinking about and how would it transition to success on the football field? The boys basketball team had arguably one of their best senior classes since 1985, I think they finished 12-15.

  11. Another thing I don't care about are all the kids that are being steered towards soccer. Never have been interested or gave a flip about that sport. They should call it like it is 'Football in Panties".

  12. To be more optimistic and enjoying the orange/blue Gatorade, I think the govs are gonna surprise people next year. The success of the other sports show that the athletes are still in LA. I think they win 2-3 on top of the 4 gimmes. AND...there will be a banquet!

  14. People expected history to repeat itself and i wouldn't call them haters. You brought that on for MJ when you ran your mouth all year 2 years ago about how big and bad MJ was after going 10-0 in the regular season and got put out in the first round to the 4 seed in Riverdale. You disappeared for a long while and finally made it back after everyone though you had hurt yourself

  17. Mine would be an escalator UP. Everyone should walk down the stairs at least once in their lives, but having an enjoyable way UP would save lives. Especially for old farts like me! LOL The players have walls and a roof. How much more do you need to change clothes? As to things needed for the visitor side, a direct line for the draft beer at Big Ed's would be nice.

  18. The Oak Ridge game is huge for HVA. Our defense will be solid. Like its been (seemingly for both teams) our success is dependent on our O line. We have to replace our QB. Our skills are not bad. A couple of young guys must step up.
