Congratulations to the LC Falcons. Y'all are the real deal and I expect a Gold Ball in the trophy case this December for your boys. Dominant from the start. Good luck the rest of the way3 points

This is very impressive. They will be hard to keep out of Cookeville. They could quite possibly be the most talented, and athletic team in 1A this season.3 points

Yep our young guys got a lot of reps in the second half of the game. It feels really good to be a Red Rebel! The pipeline is full! And Coach Hunt is doing a fantastic job!2 points

Wish I was there! Pulling for the Cats as usual for me. No earthly idea on a possible score. Just try to imitate "Run em up Rankin" and score WAY more than HVA. LOL2 points

You would know better than me for sure. And thanks for the luck. We need quite a bit tonight I'm afraid! Good luck to you guys as well. No injuries allowed!2 points

Let me give my opinion on athletes. They are not always BLACK. Milan's defense is almost completely made up of African Americans. So does that make them more athletic than Trenton? Milan's kids look the part because of their physical statue but by no means are they more athletic than Peabody. We made them look slow last night. Why? because of how we went about preparing for this game. Peabody was coached up last night and that makes for a quicker team. It also takes guts, intelligence and heart to win and that is what Peabody has. I am sure Milan has some intelligent players with guts and heart but last night it was all Trenton. The score was not as bad as the game was. We were very dominant.2 points

Blazer I don't look forward to having the Devil's go up against Charlie Cole much respect to that kid. He is a Great Football Player. He and Cade I hear will be teammates next season.2 points

I agree, both teams love to slug it out against the best. Hard to keep a small team at it's best all year. Pray for a good, injury free game I hope you try to slobber nock the qb transfer on the first play. That might fire up FC.2 points

Milan looks (so far) exactly like a team with a 1'st year coach, playing in week one of the season... Peabody looks like they're in late season form... almost flawless execution on both sides of the ball. In my opinion, it's way too early to write off the 'Dawgs... they have a long way to go, but a long time to get this right... plenty of motivation after tonight too. It may be early to pass judgement on Milan, but not Peabody... barring a catastrophic streak of bad luck, everybody in their way is in trouble.2 points

Maybe so but Greenback just got 50 hung on them to a team that went 3-8 last year kinfolk. I’m just keeping it real1 point

That was very ugly. Horrible play calling. Defense was good and gave us a chance to win. Hardin Valley was solid and didn't do much to beat themselves. We have a lot of young guys that need to grow up fast. Hate to say it, but 5-5 will be an accomplishment for this team.1 point

We got the win. It really shouldn't have been as close as it was. I think I witnessed the all time passing record at WC tonight1 point

Willie I would torture the people that run Maryville to death if things went sour up there. You not see how I carried on about the Dairy Queen coupon this spring, well that got fixed with Bojangles. I got the Chick-Fil-A fixed. Still working on the hamburger situation because city slickers all go out and eat every night and don't know how to grill, they only know how to microwave. That's why we enjoy coming down there to play to eat some real food for a change.1 point

Thanks for confirming that Pride. You are a very cognitive guy. For those who do not know-He is a smart guy.1 point

Old Pirate says, JTMM and his fellow SP teammates dominated Jasper sports while SP took some blows due to the drop off in talent remaining. JTMM’s presence was like the lead violin in an orchestra! The first violinist is concertmaster and is not only musician but leader. BTW, The skillet slinger is a huge orchestra fan, certainly not OP. Figure OP is more a dueling banjo type! LOPAO1 point

One point I agree with and the other points you are oblivious Tadvols and should have watched the entire game instead of switching over to baseball. I agree that it was a Sloppy game on both sides and thats about it with what you said. You say Powell was definitely the better team which if you watched the entire game you would have seen the game could have went either way and Greeneville had a change to win it with less than a min to go in the game. Both teams were evenly matched (Total Yards for Greeneville 229 vs 226 for Powell. Powell threw the ball for 114 yards on 17 passes and Greeneville threw the ball for 114 yards on 17 passes. Powell rushed the ball 40 times for 112 yards compared to 41 rushes by the Devils for 115 yards) you can't be more evenly matched than that. I wouldn't say Greeneville has lost their toughness when you saw the fight in that team that could have folded up after fumbling the ball on their first drive of the 2nd half inside their own 5 yard line for a quick Powell Score and going down 12 to 3. After the Half the Greeneville D only gave up 62 total yards of offense So Powell goes to the semi's at state at worst but now this is Greeneville's worst team you think in over 10 years? What does that say about Powell or 5a football then?1 point

Morris was there for 22 years as Head Coach and Pettigrew is in his second year as Head Coach and was DC for 7 years prior. What revolving door? Assistants? That true of many programs. Success provides opportunities for assistants.1 point

I don't blame Milan for trying to out athlete Peabody, Milan does have more athletes. 3 fundamental problems: Coaching - Peabody is better. I would put that staff up against any in Tennessee. Vols included. Attitude - I actually heard a kid from Milan talking trash to Peabody fans going into half. (Down by 4 touchdowns) These kids don't understand nobody is afraid of Milan anymore. They have to earn their respect. Continuity - Milan has had a revolving door of coaches for a few years now. What gives?1 point
