I heard of one kid that left WB to go to Greenback this year and another one trying. Oh Shad may not have all his all his ducks in a row at WB but he sure runs a good feeder program for Greenback High.

Two loss teams missed playoffs quite often years ago. Most would end up in bowl games. As far as the playoffs though it wouldn’t have mattered either way. In those years you would be matched against Brentwood Academy in second round and that was just too much for AA teams. Be like letting Alcoa play 1-A ball currently

No. No beef. Just sick and tired of the holier than thous who believe that everybody else cheats but them. As I have said before, and I still stand by it and own it, every single school in this area plays the game, or at least those who are committed to having quality athletic programs. Every. Single. Your understanding is incorrect, Willie. Powel wasn't found guilty of recruiting. The issue two years ago was a student who had transferred in and wasn't eligible because he was out of zone. There was not a recruiting accusation made to the TSSAA. The TSSAA found nothing to substantiate the charges of last year. So, no. Powell hasn't been found "guilty" of recruiting. It's best not to get to giddy in these situations, by the way. As the old saying goes, look at what happens when you point a finger at somebody else. There are three pointing right back at you Mt. Juliet can attest to that about now.
