What's all this garbage supposed to mean??? Demands for an apology when even the guy himself says that it may be false, race cards being thrown about, speculations about self imposed penalties and TSSAA probationary periods into future seasons... for what??? Here's what I already know to be the truth... Coach gets fired for poor performance, throws out the race card in the media, and rails against the entire system for being underhanded and him being the "victim". New coach hired with high expectations and much fanfare, but with a small segment still loyal to the former coach, and unhappy with the hire. Team gets transfers, plays well, and is on the brink of being the favorite to go to Cookeville. Allegations are made against the program, and TSSAA investigates. Also a trio of new accounts show up here throwing around rumors and claiming to have heard this junk "on the streets". Now for what I think... Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what the most likely scenario is here, but the great thing is, all everyone has to do is wait and see if Coach Diffee, the Milan administration, or the kids' guardian's have been untruthful.

Time to set aside football for a bit and get in our bibles and do some old school praying. Got some folks hurting bad right now, need to pray ‘em up. I got some sure enough prayer warriors as I’m sure you do as well. Time to make a few calls and get them to work.

Per my sources, Milan is self-imposing penalties for rules violations and hoping the TSSAA doesn’t levy more. The school is docking itself eight football scholarships over a two-year period and reducing recruiting visits, evaluations and communication after a nearly two-month investigation. More to come.

I would say rather than bickering is to pray for the 98% that played by the rules . These kids worked their butt off to get to this moment and potentially could be snatched from them. They are not rule breakers 2020 has been a heckuva year for them with “ Everything” and just to think that it could be snatched from them just like that . I stand with these guys

I highly doubt FC would impose any extra on themselves. They don't sound like the type of program or school that would hold themselves accountable

Great minds think alike! This year shapes up VERY favorably for Henry County and not many people have caught on to that. Of course our coaches and players learned a valuable lesson last year and I dont see that same scenario happening again this year. If we take care of business 2nd and 3rd round (which we should) there SHOULD be a semifinal game in Henry County and you have got to like the odds of having the chance of winning that game whoever it is. Any way I'm just throwing out there what I see happening. With the way we have been playing lately I think we have potential to shock a lot of people and possibly make it to Cookeville THIS YEAR! You heard it from me right here right now!!!

I have done a lot of filming, you have to cut in between plays. Not cutting and having to do that after a game would be a nightmare. I was taught in college to start rolling if something like this happened but it’s totally reasonable to miss a fight that happens after a play

It doesn’t matter who gave up the Info. Wrong is wrong. Like I said last night I feel for the homegrown Milan kids that might be punished. The adults are to be blamed. Coaches. Administrators. Handlers Never thought high school football would turn out like AAU basketball. But several Milan people on this board said Milan would do whatever to get back to the glory days. Coach Morris won on homegrown talent and hard work. That’s what is wrong with society everywhere. No one wants to work hard. Looking for shortcuts.

On his first, he had a receiver on the 10 but the ball went out about the 30. On the second one it was even worse than that. But he didn't do it again. haha Probably won't the rest of the year either. I'd like to see him just tuck it and run, he usually does pretty well at running the ball. I wouldn’t be shocked at all if HC made it. They've played a tough schedule and destroyed everyone in your region. Believe it comes down to a rematch with Beech to represent the West.

Perhaps, but as a Beech guy, I’ll say Henry County is the best team Beech has played this year.

I wouldn't mind either one of those. Either way we get to potentially avenge a 3rd round playoff loss. I'm just knocking on wood that the playoffs occur to their full extent. We have a few breaks going our way this year being guaranteed a first round bye to nurse any injuries plus our quadrant hosting the semifinals. There is definitely a path there for us to "exceed expectations".

Well the playoffs are looking like at the moment that we would face the winner of the Brighton/Dyer County game in round 2 of the playoffs. Me personally I want DC! I want US to be the one to put them OUT this year! It would be at Patriot Stadium and it would be our first playoff game at home since that loss last year. Sounds like the perfect story and perfect scenario to me!

It’s sad that these kids are facing these issues, they play together and want to win. None of us chose what color we were when we were born. We are not racist at birth it is taught. It’s sad that these kids face that. Makes adults look really bad.

Bledsoe is 9-0 with their weak schedule and RS is 7-2. Best Riverside win is Adamsville (5-4). Best Bledsoe win is Monterey (7-1). Sonny always has Tyner in high esteem so I'm sure the computers love that win. We never know how this cross state teams would fare against each other since everyone plays in their same quad year after year.

He went dark and private on Instagram. He has supposedly talked to numerous coaches in west Tn about them going to there school before landing in Milan. exactly, that has been my point for a long time.... why do we have to keep scheduling several unwinnable games every year? What has it gotten us except for guys getting injured? We lost the MB because Crockett is a better team. Here's the crazy thing though, it is hypothetically possible for Boone and Crockett to meet again in the playoffs. Not that I think either of us can beat the Knoxville teams but with Covid causing problems with forfeits..... who knows??

Nomatter where those 6A teams in east Tennessee are placed in the playoffs,you have to beat the team in front of you first . Maryville is where all roads lead but if you can't get past the other teams, Maryville won't matter.After that, Maryville or the upset team of the world will have to beat a super team before thinking about a championship game.

The only thing that bothers me about polls is that you are punished for not running up the score on a weaker team. It will never be accurate because of that alone.

Boy, I really don't know what to expect in this one. This is a BIG game for Powell's psyche, although I wonder how much Lowe and Duncan will show in this game since it has no bearing on playoff positioning. The Panthers showed a ton of resolve in their comeback against OR, but early mistakes have killed them in their last two games. SD can certainly run the ball, and that has been Powell's Achilles' Heel all season. I think we're going to see a similar result again this week - Until Powell slows a power running team (like SD), I don't see them getting the W.

At least our politics are the same. "Could of had" Doesn't say get rid of the current head coach. Anybody with a pulse knows I've been complaining about the lack of pass defense at DB for 20+ years. Not after one loss. Everything about adding Teddy Gains to the staff says home run hire. Their worse now than they ever have been. I have no ideal if Witten could of done any better. I 'm starting to think maybe there's something in the water over here. But all things considered I'd still rather be a DB fan than a SH fan. And I wouldn't trade our coach for 10 of yours. Idiot!
