I have really been impressed with the improved play at the line of scrimmage from earlier in the year. #14 is an absolute gamer. I’ll be content win or lose as long as we don’t give it to them and our kids leave the field not questioning if they gave their all for the TC.

I believe West Is the most complete 5A team in the East and I think they win this one on their road to Cookeville. That being said I’m pulling for Oak Ridge and the upset! GO WILDCATS! RWR!

I’m not sure what went on, but West still had a chance to stop us, blown call or not, and couldn’t. I’m not gonna act like I knew what all went down in a big pile of players being 300 feet from the field. Sucks if they got shafted but our guys still deserve a ton of credit. That was a dang good football game just like I expected it would be. Finally glad to see a good football team for a change come down here and play us a decent game. I thought it would end out 35-21 before the game, I was close. I knew this would be a good match up from watching the Farragut game a few weeks ago.

Actually, this post is spot on. Two decades ago when teams were more about grinding it out offensively, we didn’t have to worry about running clocks. By the second and especially third rounds, teams are passing the ball. The other half of the problem is scheduling. Simply put, LC just doesn’t play anyone of any substance during the regular season. That is why they are always so over rated and their records are a farce!

Lake County will host. In an even numbered year like 2020, the bottom bracket team will host.
