  3. You mean cars that have to be registered, you have to be licensed to operate, and the government keeps a database of who owns each car? I think we could definitely start there with guns.

  4. How do you feel about breaking a contract? I know you didn't like us doing that with Walker Valley last year to play Tyner.

  7. Oh stop it. It's not the NRA or Republican party fault. Instead everyone going around trying defund the police, it's time to crack down on crime. Get tougher on sentencing instead slapping people on the wrist.

  8. I am extremely saddened by the recent senseless shootings at or near Austin-East but these shootings are not the fault of the NRA nor the Republican Party.

  9. You can’t control all guns, nor can we control all people and we especially can’t control all people with guns... people have to come to the realization, unfortunately, that this is a commonality here in the US. We act shocked every time.... there no plausible solution to conquer this problem. If there was one it would’ve been done by now. On another note, praying for the victims.

  10. They've been talked about in this thread some, but we probably need to say a few prayers for Austin-East right now.

  11. I just sent an email to Heather and endorsed my competition. Billy Orgel is a very successful tower builder and I respect his work. School is getting a good deal. They will need some ground space but I am excited for the school and tower ventures. I have called a bunch of schools trying to help with coverage. Tower Ventures always builds a nice site. It will not be there by this fall it cant clear FAA and the Tribal Letters but it will be there next fall if he can get the ground lease done. I hope it happens. The wattage is at its lowest now coming off the panels. You guys will be able to watch my games in Rutherford County with no hassle.

  14. I think it is all about the streak being over. You guys ended that last year. If what I’ve heard is true about the replacement game we’ve got then the schedule just got even tougher than it would have been with Jasper. Someone mentioned he has family at the school in Jasper. Maybe that played a part in the decision?

  15. Personally I have no sympathy for anyone who gets behind the wheel in that condition. The dui laws are too dang lax. Our community had to put to rest one of the sweetest souls I ever met because some punk with 3 DUIs didn't care about getting a 4th.

  16. Cell Phone Towers The widespread use of cell phones in recent decades has led to a large increase in the number of cell phone towers (also known as base stations) being placed in communities. These towers have electronic equipment and antennas that receive and transmit cell phone signals using radiofrequency (RF) waves. Cell phone towers are still relatively new, and many people are understandably concerned about whether the RF waves they give off might possibly have health effects. At this time, there’s no strong evidence that exposure to RF waves from cell phone towers causes any noticeable health effects. However, this does not mean that the RF waves from cell phone towers have been proven to be absolutely safe. Most expert organizations agree that more research is needed to help clarify this, especially for any possible long-term effects.

  18. 1. USJ- Lots of resources and being a private school you can have talent move to the school if you get the right coach. Lots of tough competition though. 2. Milan- Lots of good athletes to pick from. Have to get past being a football school to be successful. 3. South Gibson- Ability to build on success from last few years. Going to be tough to compete in AAA, especially if talent dips at all. 4. JCM- How many schools in JMCSS can be good at one time? South Side and Madison have been really good lately. Is there enough talent for JCM to be good. What classification do they end up in? 5. Lexington- Not sure how much better they can be then what they've been the last few years. Sounds like politics might be a problem too. 6. North Side- See concerns with JCM, plus questions on support from fan base and administration. Don't think there is a lot that separates these jobs. Good coach could make any of these successful. Bad coach could make them a trainwreck. I don't see a home run position in the bunch.

  21. The guy I'm referencing keeps throwing shade at Alcoa for not moving up... not at Milan or Covington. I've defended Covington as a whole, because you can't judge all by the actions of a few, and my defense of Milan is simply because TSSAA approved the transfers, the boards blew up with trolls, and then TSSAA cleared them again. As far as my opinion goes, they are clear. I don't mind that someone reports rule infractions, BUT before I personally pass judgement, I'm going to reflect on the evidence for myself. Not that my opinions matter to anyone else at all, but I will not join in with mob mentality, and let other biased or uninformed opinions affect my thoughts. If that answer is too much, the short version for me is "no".

  22. Fulton is probably moving up the list pretty fast due to one of their alumni... he's gaining a reputation on a high school message board for throwing about allegations of cheating/fixing games, and crying about some respected programs' success.
