PM is like me. We are just tired of all this nonsense from everyone, including those within the Pirate family . I too have been great friends with CWS for a very long time and when we tells me straight up he is not Roy, I have to believe him until proven otherwise. No, that does not mean I’m taking sides with anyone , just putting trust into a friend. I do not agree at all with things that were said by some against the Greenback family. I made that known on multiple occasions on coacht and directly through conversation with orngblk from Greenback. He can vouch for me and my brother. Heck, I was even renamed Cherokee Tom on here . But being honest, I personally take offense when I come on here and see pictures of a certain pirate ship edited with rainbows on it. To most, that may look like something at a kids playground, but to those of us who blood and sweat is poured into the program and our facilities, it’s a symbol of our tradition. As an alumni and former player, it feels like an attack on all of us. The few doesn’t always speak for the many. I will apologize for anyone wronged by the Pirate Family. I understand we are seen as ONE, so I will follow suit with PM and pray one day this can all get back to real football talk.

I wonder if unsubstantiated accusations against a school for recruiting would be considered defamation. Greenback would definitely have a case wouldn't you think? I wonder if accusing Marion's coaching staff of being chickens would fall under a libel suit or definitely defamation considering they were following state mandated protocols under the Governors executive order. Protecting one of your own is fine but again no one comes here from the Pirate Nation and bashes Roy for the unsubstantiated accusations he spews every week. Its pitiful thats the kind of character you want to defend.

The end of an era at Beech. Coach Roberts is retiring from his head coaching position after 23 years between middle school and high school coaching. As a former student and wrestler under Coach Roberts, i know i speak for everyone that has ever been a part of that program in saying, there will be no replacing Coach Roberts, just someone else listed as coach. Thank you Coach for everything you’ve ever done for both your own wrestlers, and the Tennessee wrestling community. Middle Tennessee high school wrestling wouldn’t be the same without you! Congrats on retirement and best of luck in all of your future endeavors! Go Bucs!

You don’t have to remember. I gave you the evidence earlier. There are not two wrongs here. No one is bashing your teams kids. I’m sure they are great kids that work hard. They wouldn’t have played for a championship otherwise. But Roy is reaping what he sowed. Sorry it’s not to your liking. I do genuinely fell like you are one of the good ones.

I hope I’m not sounding like I’m taking up for Roy because I’m not, but I just remember references to players, coaches , and programs but not called out by name. So I’m sorry I honestly don’t remember, but I believe you guys if you say he did. When Roy first started posting he was quick and witty with his responses. They were to the point and made 100% complete sense with the situation he was referring to. He poked jabs at Grider in a very comical way and it was fun to read, but then he started talking about other programs when his ego got filled by us for laughing at him and we ALL started talking like him whether as a joke or being serious. We are all at fault, well mostly us older posters. I’m sure several of the newer posters are using their 2nd and 3rd screen names and so on, but that’s okay in a sense. They want to throw out what they believe to be truth or payback for all that Roy has done. Let me remind you it was Roy and maybe a couple other posters. Then there are a few of us older posters that didn’t say much, or anything for that matter, yet we are having to watch it be done to us and our coaches and our kids. Point is, old saying goes “two wrongs don’t make a right”. If y’all are wanting to throw shade at Roy, maybe it would be best to not become the “new Roy’s” if you know what I mean. Send all that mess in a PM. Heck he’s on Facebook. Flood his Facebook page or his messenger. Us good ones don’t want to hear all about it. It’s gonna take a while probably months to completely get away from all the nonsense bashing. Maybe Coacht himself will have to step in. I am sorry we didn’t step in sooner. We now know how those accused felt. I say again, Roy whoever you are, if you care about CWS and his family, please stop bashing other schools kids. They are retaliating and slandering CWS wrongly and won’t stop until you stop.

This is spot on. Too many were willing to sit by and watch Roy trash kids and families. I’ll say it again....KIDS. But when others shoot back at him it’s not ok. He’s a grown man and can take care of himself, but no one wanted to come off their high horse when he was acting a fool on here. Amazing the hypocrisy on these boards.

I'll gladly stop friend If you can convince Wes to stop his drama. If he will get on here and agree you will never hear me speak out of it again. My point all along is people get on here to have fun and kill time. What he does is anything from that. Again I will gladly relent if he is willing to do the same. Cleveland will officially have girls wrestling program beginning next year. They officially named former Cleveland Boys Head Coach-and State Championship Coach- Eric Phillips Anyone that knows Coach Phillips understand how huge this is. Expect championships very soon!!!!

That last paragraph should tell everyone that we're all headed for a very bad time in this country. The media and politicians have been successful in dividing us by race. Well they just released the Body Cam Footage. (Wasn't something anything would want to watch). The Student had a gun in his hoodie pocket and the office saw the barrel and him reaching for it when they were trying to restrain him when shots got fired. (First Shot hit a trash can from the students gun and Officer Clabough (An African American Officer) shot twice hitting Thompson and Officer Wilson. The reason the Cops showed up in the first place was because Thompson's Girlfriends Mother Called KPD because him and her daughter got into a physical altercation. "Perkins said Thompson and her daughter, a junior, had dated for nine months. The girl called Perkins from an assistant principal’s office earlier Monday, saying she was upset and wanted to leave school early. Perkins said she allowed her to sign out and go home, where the girl indicated she and Thompson got into a scuffle during an argument. Perkins said she tried without success to reach Thompson’s mother before calling police. An officer came to her home to take a statement. Perkins said she also exchanged text messages with Thompson, telling him that an officer would be coming to the school. “Anthony was aware that I had called the police and made a report,” Perkins said. Not long after that, Perkins said she saw a helicopter above the school and learned that the school was on lockdown. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said police responded to a report of a possible gunman about 15 minutes before the school’s 3:30 p.m. dismissal. Perkins said she now wishes she had never called police. “I am so sorry, and I never meant for anything to happen to him,” Perkins said. “We are mourning, my daughter is grieving the loss of her first love and we also want answers and justice in this case.”

Great post Tom!You and Mike and a good few others have always been straight shooters and I consider you all FREINDS!Just a VERY few I dont even read their crap if I dont have to.lol.You guys I consider just like me a high school football fan of ALL high school kids.We goof off but we try to keep it light.Its not my job nor anyones on coacht to investigate nor call out any program for wrong doings.If those programs are cheating it will get found out at some point.Yes I'll be honest after the Rent deal I did find it Karmatized that SP got caught after the Bull spewed by THOSE FEW.But I'm ready for football and to enjoy a real football season again.You guys know we Greenback folks would do all we can to help you all out in any way we can just like real fans should.We all know the real Pirates on here.BUT if I saw a Roy/OP in the middle of the road I'm not sure I would swerve.Good luck to you fellers and I pray for a rematch soon!

Great post Pirates Mike and Tom. I've known you guys a long time and you know me. We can vouch for each other we have never and will never trash a kid or anyone by name on here or in real life. You have a few on here that are very jealous of our school and hate us from the heart, and that's very sad. I have as well as you guys have, friends in Jasper, Whitwell, Dunlap and Grundy that I would fight for, but just a few from SP and few from Jasper can't get the hate out of there hearts, and wants to spew venom. I remember when the talk use to be football and it was so much fun, but now it's about soap opera crap for a few. It's not funny and I skip over so many pages until I come to the very few on here like you guys where I can actually read a decent conversation. My sister lost a daughter last week and she was a beautiful and sweet niece that was a HUGE BAMA Fan, but you know I'm Big Orange as well as my family, even though we do stink, but when we talked football it was always ribbing each other, but we always loved each other and knew football was just that. OMG, I miss her so much and it still hurts. Diagnosed with cancer last July and after 12 specialist from Mayo clinic couldn't figure her cancer out it finally got the best of her. Tom she was about your age. Didn't mean to get all on that, but just saying, we can all have a favorite team, but stop all the bashing and have fun with this site.

He only badmouthed coaches and programs from what I remember. He talked about transfers a lot but never mentioned a KIDS name. But again I’m forgetful. When the coach walked off the floor in the second half of a game because her daughter is an emotional basket case, it sealed her fate. They have some good talent returning; will be a good job for the right person. Someone else on here may have more details.

Well for one if it is Wes and I have no idea nor do I care, they have been that way for years, ignore them. People are like that to get a rise our of someone and obviously its working. The reason, I mentioned anything at all is if you want to get back at Wes or who ever it is then keep it about who your dealing with. Maybe they need a referral. We should send links to them showing the kind of character one of their coaches has through some of his accusations over the years. Had that been done before the game was scheduled they probably would have passed on the opportunity or if your in the know pending aggravation of said game.

So back to the Austin East tragedy. Do we know yet if the student even had a gun? Apparently a police officer shot the student and another police officer then shot him? I still haven't seen for sure if the student was even armed. WTH? We just witnessed that cop in Minn. get convicted for straight up murdering George Floyd. Floyd was no saint but that was just insane. Call me crazy but I don't think race had anything to do with it. Crazy people are coming out of the woodwork. Now I just heard where a young black girl in Ohio was shot four times by police there. Apparently she had picked up a knife to defend herself in a fight with others, the police rolled up and shot her. (now keep in mind it's the media reporting this) So I want to support the police but this has to stop. The communist left will defund the police and take away their weapons, then this country will turn into a complete HE double L hole. Seems like the whole world is losing it's mind.
