You got me mixed up with little brother down the road. I call a spade a spade, believe that. Little brother is always the one playing the poor little 1a card. Go talk about beating the school for the blind in your district. Oh yeah you played oakland, good for you. I never said I wouldn't make a pick. To early in the week for that.2 points

I just wish Friday would hurry up and roll around. Call me crazy, but the closer it gets the better I feel about the Dawgs taking care of business. I just wish the AP folks wouldn’t have lost their minds and added fuel to the Gville fire by releasing those unjustified rankings. Gville oughta be ranked ahead of Clay and I’ll be the first to say that, not to mention the injustice to the teams from the west. It’ll make a cool newspaper clipping to look back at someday, but a ranking never won a ball game. I’d say that a ranking has cost some teams a game over the years though.2 points

tie breaker starts back over at that point and will go to head to head. this is a survive and advance, lose and go home situation for the west knox patsys.2 points

While I’ll agree Rhea Co backs down from no team, I don’t recall a Maryville / Rhea Co game where we lost on an missed kick - closest game I can recall was at Maryville in 2000 and the Eagles lost 21-6. We played Oakland closer at home in a Semifinal loss 27-17 in 89. I got nothing but respect for both Maryville and Oakland but if they meet up again in this year’s Championship game, make no mistake I’ll be pulling for the Rebels to bring that trophy back to East Tennessee where it belongs. Oh and back on topic… I would like to see the Bears pull the upset but in reality, Bradley has another appointment Friday night with Maryville out at the ole woodshed.2 points

Sorry but that 1998 Tennessee team is no where close to the best team over in college. Maybe in Tennessees history but not in all of college football2 points

If it is a 90% chance of rain Friday this may be what the field looks like.2 points

What another incredible hire by Notre Dame AD Matt Pobielglo. Mike Jenkins is incredibly well known and respected on the local, state and national golf scene and the Irish family very fortunate to have him coming to Vermont Avenue. Exciting times for the Irish for sure. Booger just sayin1 point

They’ll need to update their MP stats page in that case. Very impressive numbers nonetheless.1 point

Actually the head coach is Blake Satterfield. He is the son of Hall of Fame member Coach Clint Satterfield and the grandson of Hall of Fame member Coach Jim B. Satterfield. Three generations of Watertown butt whippers.1 point

LRDAO…little brother updated the schedule this year in case you didnt see. Two games had to get canceled due to that Covid mess. Even your own jailhouse high posters are calling you out. You jailhouse fellars was even scared that Creasy man was in the same county. You think im joking but im not.1 point

It matters who turned them in because it goes to motive? I have never turned a blind eye to things I knew about OR, good or bad. I am positive everybody involved with OR football and athletics knew how two West players " showing up " would look, what a joke you can't see that. 2Why don't think Mullins did not do his job? Finally, who are you? My name is Steve Palmer a 1982 grad of OR. No fake screenames. Not a troll. Can you say the same? A tough day for OR sure but no "SADNESS." We have not be proven guilty except for garbage posters saying they know all.1 point

If Millington wins they are 3 and Ripley 4. If Bolivar pulls the upset then the Covid game that Millington Forfeit to Covington will come back to haunt them if Ripley wins. That would make Ripley 3-2 in region and Millington 2-2. Covid forfeits go down as a win for the team that could play but don’t count against the team that couldn’t play if it is a region game. So Covington got a win and it didn’t count against Millington. Since Ripley would have more wins they would get the 3 seed even though Millington beat them heads up. Hope this helps.1 point

nope I’m an outsider so I can look to the matchups we all want to see. But I do agree with you as a team I hope all of y’all stay focused cause there is potential for some phenomenal football games lat in the playoffs!!1 point

I wander what Coach Clint will have dialed up for this game??? This one will be much to important to let Blake have the reigns! Im sure Blake took it hard after it was conveyed to him over Sunday dinner this past week. @TCRadio will you guys be interviewing Coach Clint or do y’all still try to make Blake feel important?1 point

It was dang cold in 2008 @Rhea County. That game was a lot closer than the 28-8 score. If memory serves me correct (it often doesn't), Rhea Co blocked a Maryville punt that Maryville picked up and ran for a TD or a long first down that led to a TD. There may have been a Maryville defensive score, too. Did I mention that it was dang cold. About 17 degrees. Some Rhea County fans had some propane heaters in the visitor stands.1 point

They were turned in by multiple schools because everybody hates OR. Always have, always will1 point

Just give up man! The comment's you have made today about Powell's 2011 team (I coached against them in the Quarters and was a TD away from beating them with a 7-5 team) and the 1998 Tennessee Team being the best team to ever take the field in any era or generation just proves to everyone how asinine and dumb you are or don't know football at all.1 point

Jets football has learned to be more physical as the season has gone on. This should be the jets game to show how far we have come from week 1. Time to show who's bigger, stronger, faster in this game.1 point

Dang I might stay at home lol1 point

logic says it would go back to head to head. But it's a great question. Really makes the game so much more intruiguing.1 point

Had a great trip down. Got my large pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni at Big Ed's before the game. Talked with several Oak Ridge fans in Big Ed's as well as in the parking lot and at the ticket booth before the game. Oak Ridge has some great folks. Enjoyed the game from the top row of the visitors seats right on the 50. Oak Ridge will definitely NOT be making a long playoff run this season. Both teams looked not very good at all Friday night. D-B just happened to score a little more to come out with the win. Going to need to play much better just to even be in the game Friday night against Johnson City, let alone win it.1 point

There are a few games stick out to me as Lamar's big games. The win against Bearden in overtime in 2019, the two games against Powell in 2019 even though one was a loss were all great games with a lot on the line. The Powell game last year was a big win. Had the refs not interfered in the Oak Ridge quarterfinal they would have been back in the semis and given SD a run for their money at the very least.1 point

BigEdmo’s oxygen has improved! He has been around 90-91 the last two days. Thanks for the prayers! Need him to get to 95 so they can start cutting the vent back. Tommorrow will be day 35 I think. I’m losing count. He’s a fighter! He wants to get back to the T and shake the bushes with the Card fans!1 point

I’m not sure Meigs can handle all the speed that Jasper has. They are really gelling with their line right now. I may be at this game if able. I look for Jasper to have 300 yards rushing, and win by 2 TD’s. Meigs won’t be able to run the QB all night long. They will have to pass and mix it up.1 point

Be quiet Cooter Brown, we all know where the town drunk will be every weekend.1 point

I wouldn't follow you to Big Ed's even if you were paying the bill. In my mind if we have a leader here on CoachT it is Bounder. I repect others like Sweet, CardinalGrey, BoyfromSI, Nole & Family, STILLNUM1, oridgecat. Bonkers, catswild and a few more Wildcat fans. Filmy....say goodnight.1 point

Yeah, it's sad, nobody else cares. Your troll job was all time Coach T good, but it's over now. Nobody believes anything you say. Couldn't keep all your BS and screen names straight. It was fun while it lasted. You are dismissed.1 point
