Great Short Film on Greeneville vs Oak Ridge Game. You can tell Spradlen is a good coach and motivator. The kids love him and he has came along from being the quieter coach when he first joined Greeneville in 2007 as a Db's Coach.

What do you mean rookie? Are you saying HHS can't keep their own players from moving? Or do you mean they need pointers on how to run a successful program that will draw student-athletes to their school? Or maybe the school admins/coaches need to muzzle those "interested" parties in the stands that cause stink wherever they go and run kids and families off?

That website used to strip all of the info from independent sites like mine and then publish the same info as their own. It took the threat of lawsuits to get them to stop, at least then, but they may still be doing it in other ways. So, I have no use for them.

As I said Gordy isn’t terrible, they’re better than us, they are better than Whitwell, better than Clay, better than sale creek. But they are not better than South Pitt, the Pirates will out athlete them, out run them, and will most DEFINITELY out physical Gordy. This is the softest Gordy team I have ever seen.

Rocky’s Jamaican Sunrise is very good. Not far from the stadium. Grilled chicken is some of the best. Baked beans are awesome.

They need to get back to highlighting the big bruisers up front that help these kids rack up these yards

I usually agree, but not when they have a D1 QB in the game still throwing TD's when they're up by 90 points. Takes a weak man to do that.

@vandyfan1 is not a Huntingdon poster. There have been several fans of other schools making statements about Huntingdon. I for one, appreciate others from outside Huntingdon respecting the tough schedule, fight and drive these boys have shown this season. Before this season is over, however, there will be people saying that Huntingdon posters said this and that. It happens every year. I could care less about what Meigs is doing at this point. We have Mitchell this week.

I am very interested to see how this pans out, as there are some talented kids in the middle division alone. I know the west USJ's running back has had a very productive season. I would expect the QB at MTCS would be in the running, for it as well. The middle region I would put say the running back Josh Strickland Jr would be a great Candidate as well, the RB from DCA has had a monster season. The OL/DL from Grace #77 has also had a productive season. Just thoughts as I know the Mr.Football award is right around the corner.

I’ve seen SP play Gordonsville many times and they are always physical and fast. Also they are 10-1 so I believe that constitutes a very good team.

PF dodged us earlier this season but miraculously healed the following week. I hope coach puts up a 100 on PF which we can if he wants.

Pujo, you hit the head on it. Ty Simpson is going to win the award for 2A. However, if I had the opportunity to vote, my vote would not to go Simpson. I do have my reasons. I don't want this to be a popularity contest, I want the best kid to earn the right to win the award. Congratulations to all players on being nominated for the award. In addition, congratulations to Khalik Ganaway from Peabody, and Luke Myers from South Greene on being nominated two years in a row.

The season records are what they are. But after spending a year in Joe Gaddis fieldhouse I can't in good conscious bet against his team. Hoping they step it up on Friday and wish the old coach the best.

Milan has the Play off wins of any team in West Tennessee. I believe they are right at 90. They also are tied for the most gold ball with four and have the most championship game appearances at 10. No they do not have the most success over the last decade but I think in total program history they are the best in West Tennessee. JMO.

You're spot on about the whipping. No other way to describe it. It was hard to watch. I think East is going to be a tough out for White House and/or Waverly. Like really tough. Not saying it cant happen but they've played several teams tougher than either region 6 frontrunner. I'm pulling for Waverly to go to the semis and play Dyersburg or Covington because I have a lot of good friends there who love Tiger football. I watched East vs Smith film. Huge gap between #1 and #2 in region 5. I'll leave it at that.

Sad. Hope the kids have some pride in themselves, their school and community.

I guess I'm in for a rude time then. I am not a fan of either team but I am here to tell facts. As much as it sounds as if I am bashing Westmoreland I promise you I am not. I wish them nothing but the best in this game as I do all teams in the state playing this week. I am just here to tell you that Marion will be a wrecking ball because they want another shot at Meigs and I think they will get it. Marion took a humbling L last week. They will control this game on both sides of the ball. Once again I wish Westmoreland the best of luck but Marion is a team that is hungry and they are going to eat.

True, but if you include Henry County High's predecessor, E.W. Grove High, I would definitely include the "Paris area" in the top 5. But...I'm not gonna argue against excluding HCHS. There are other West TN programs that have been around much longer and done a lot more.

Trenton actually has a richer history in football than you might think. Yes the 80s/90s/early 2000’s was a mediocre period for them. But during the 40’s/50’s/60’s/70’s they were very successful. Before the John Tucker years in Milan, Trenton had the far superior record of the two as well (obviously that changed up until the last 10 years). And adding what they have done lately, yes they should be on the list.

I absolutely agree. Huge difference between starters rolling off 13 TDs in a game that lopsided and Greenevilles freshman team doing it against East. Still don’t understand how they scored 88 only running 25 plays. I need to see the box score and stats from that game. Has to be insane

Don't really know a whole about Bledsoe, but if they play anything like they did a couple years ago this will be an absolute dog fight. I believe we jumped on them early and they continued to scratch and claw and made it a nail biter.

I definitely could see it Turtle. Unicoi County and AE have one common opponent in Northview. Unicoi played them first game of the year and won 22-15 and AE played them week 5 and won 42-8
