Just a thought you are an idiot mckenzie wins a couple games and you show up… fair weather fan ????3 points

Absolutely ! Everyone keeps talking about the big 3 I am absolutely sure that everyone of us can lose a game and be bounced ! Previous seasons, streaks, Goldballs none of that matters now ! It’s win or go home ! I know Comer and he doesn’t overlook anyone !2 points

I agree with Willie and RCfan there's not enough tape to tell anything. Maybe someone that's not in the tape said something and caused the flag. And the head tackle was a clean play maybe a bit rough but legal. Hate for the zebras to make a difference at the end of the game. But they don't want to do it either, fouls are fouls. "call em like ya see em"!2 points

Probably got a better NIL deal. TN has dropped the ball with the NIL is what I’ve heard2 points

Dekalb played us close the first game of the season. If we can play a full game with minimal mistakes we will win this one but it seems like every game we have multiple personal foul penalties. That will catch up to us at some point in the season1 point

TKA at USJ The number one seed and favorite to win the gold ball vs TKA who has been up and down all year. USJ is a heavy favorite here. Trinity at MTCS MTCS ran the ball very well against Friendship in their last game and Trinity beat a very very young CA team on the road. MTCS has a very talented QB who can make plays by himself. Trinity scored a bunch against CA. This could be a high scoring game with MTCS being the favorite here. JCS at NCS NCS is a favorite to win the gold ball and rested some players last week from what we’ve heard. JCS and their Mr Football candidate Boyd have a tough task against the biggest and fastest defense in D2A. When we talk about size we are talking about multiple 6’5” 300 lb players along with multiple others who look and play like Tarzan. NCS uses their weight room very often. NCS is the favorite here. Friendship at DCA Friendship has added players to the OL/DL and as always are very physical and well coached. DCA coming off their win against NCS left a bunch of points on the field with a td called back, missed FG from close range, and opportunities in the red zone. DCA is healthy and will have two very talented all state caliber players who missed their fist game play this time around. They are healthy and appear to understand how hard it is to beat a good team in a rematch. There’s a respect from each team towards the others but this is definitely a rivalry going back to the 1980’s. Both staffs know each other well so this game could easily be closer than the 25 point blowout win for DCA early in the season. I won’t pick this game for obvious reasons so it’s a pick-em game. Best of luck to all the teams, coaches, and fans. If you can’t travel go to NFHS and pay the $7 to watch it online. It’s worth it. @mangledmascots.com is also a great way to support your team or buy a dog toy of a team you love to hate, in a healthy, competitive way.1 point

I'm putting this message in this particular form because it was where he was best known to the Coach T family. With profound sadness, I must report that Trinity Christian Academy parent Big Ed Moore passed away this afternoon. He fought a brave battle. He is no longer in pain as he is in the Loving arms of Jesus. Please keep his wife, this three children, and his mother in your prayers. I'm going to miss my friend Big Ed Mo!1 point

Around 2:30 today BigEd met Jesus and is flying high. He was my very best friend in the world and I will dearly miss him. Coacht won’t be the same without him “stirring up the bushes” with the Adamsville and USJ fans! Wonderful guy who loved kids and always wanted them to succeed!1 point

They also had a lineman on their team last year that is at UT now. Also the qb and rb from last year are playing on Saturday as well. #studs1 point

I am no way trying to diminish McKenzie win over Dresden. I happen to think Dresden is a solid team. I was pointing out that Dresden lost Obion County.1 point

They (Obion County) have a 1000 yard rusher and were pretty good size across the line. They just couldn’t hang with our speed.1 point

It's 2021. No reason any team should still be running plays in and out of a huddle. Any offense not calling plays from the line is at a disadvantage. These zone reads out of shotgun are much easier than the veer option reads from the 70's.1 point

Ranen Blackburn's correct regular season number are as follows. This does not include the postseason game. 145 rush for 1,276 and 17 TD. 57-of-102 for 1,063 and 7 TD. He's also punted for an average of 37.7 with five punts pinned inside the 20. Ranen Blackburn also has these numbers with a backfield teammate in Reece McAfee with 1,363 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns. Here's the full story if you would like to read it, written prior to the playoffs. https://whitehousebdp.com/2021/11/04/blackburn-named-to-class-3-a-mr-football-semifinalists/ For his career, he has rushed for 4,173 yards and 47 touchdowns and passed for 1,726 with 16 touchdowns and has one career receiving touchdown. He is 257 yards shy of the school rushing record set by 2005 Mr. Football Ricky Ladd. He owns the school record with 21 career 100-yard games. I hope this helps. Good luck to all the semifinalists.1 point

We got to win two more games before we can even think about that!!! It won't be easy as we are not that good!1 point

Cornersville Offense has seemed to improve as the season has gone on creating different looks not allowing teams to load the box. Mckenzie doesn't have a lot of size in the trenches that's a concern going into this game with what you mentioned about how physical cornersville is1 point
-
I think this will be a good game. I expect Cornersville to play well and be in it at the end.1 point

I believe Fulton will play hard! Teams do wear out after 11 or 12 games. The Devils are fortunate for their starters to have played only about 1/2 the minutes this year. Which also means that a lot of backups who are very athletic have gotten great game experience against other teams ones. a lot of respect for Fulton! You were doing the dance before us and as a rule with a few exceptions High School sports are a cycle.1 point

And in the Clay County game Cornersville was without a top senior RB (and LB) and lineman (plays both ways). So essentially 4 key starters. Depth is a huge issue and there's no way they can hang with that RB in the open field. They need to slow the game down and control time of possession.1 point

Yeah, that was a result of Nolen being "known" in both West and East Tennessee and Potts basically being an East Tennessee known commodity. Potts really deserved that slot and one of the guys from East Tennessee who is involved in selecting the semifinalist and winner tried really hard to push for Potts over Nolen.1 point

We played at Sullivan Central a few years ago. When we were on offense their tuba player played a very loud solo except he deliberately missed some notes, it just made me want to crawl out of my skin. Believe it or not it was more annoying than the Topper guy with that "move the chains" thing......1 point

HC has hit its stride at the right time. 56 is the magic number again this week. Beat Portland 56-0 two weeks ago and Mumford seems to be about the same caliber. I'll give Mumford a score since they're at home though. 56-7.1 point

Another thing to consider is that hardly anyone in that area runs it, so even playing competition to replicate it would be hard to do, saying nothing of trying to simulate it in practice. Ask Derek Hunt, it's not fun Just going off what I've seen on this board, but OR needs to find an offense they're comfortable with and go all in. Feeder schools should be running the same thing1 point

Any info yet on the young man that got hurt for CC? Hope it wasn't as bad as it looked. Prayers for him.1 point

I haven’t cried in a long time over a football game my friend. The only difference in South Greene and Oneida is South Greene got caught cheating and that’s what they are known for. South Greene Chain Yankers sounds more fitting than Rebels. If y’all fairly no chain yankin no sneaky stuff clearly beat us Friday night I’ll say congrats and move on. However I’m not the only guy that has this opinion on SG.1 point

First post in a while and not gonna post much here out for awhile. The situation and therapy I'm having to go thru is brutal and I just cant get into football mode again, some on here have been keeping up with other methods,I do read this tho gives me some entertainment while healing.Im pulling for those Indians till they get sent home and that may be this week sounds like Oneida just cant find the clutch to shift into overdrive.Good luck my friends from Oneida and Hampton hope you all have a round three.Hampton I think has the upper hand right now in my opinion BUT I'm still pulling the the OnW. 1A - I'm a Cloudland Highlander the rest of their ride,Way to whip a once 1A powerhouse and didnt even look back!If some changes dont come our program will be a garbage truck.I think Cloudland has the stuff to get the Semis but that will be it without some help from above.LOL! Good luck to all teams and keep them all healthy!1 point

Right. I remember saying the same thing about Mays when he was at Catholic. I remember he was throwing kids around like rag dolls in HS. He’s still pretty dang good in college, but no matter if it’s Cade or Nolen, once you get up to the higher levels like the SEC, it’s a totally different ballgame and animal. He could very well end up being a bust, you just never know. On the other hand, he could excel. We’ll just have to wait and see.1 point

A guy his size should dominate in high school football. I won't be impressed until he dominates guys his own size.1 point

I think this will be one heck of a game. I think Marion will have to watch film this week and head to Watertown with a gameplan and execute. I know that's easier said than done but I think Marion has a chip on their shoulder as well as Watertown. This will be a good one but I still have to give Marion the very close edge in this one.1 point

That was one of my top 3 calls, since I started doing radio in 2013. Great game really was a teaser for this series all three games have been different but all three have been classics, I expect nothing less Friday Night.1 point

Rhea had better watch the other Karns backs and qb's Oak Ridge wasn't ready for their game plan. We just watched for Bishop, they have more than just him.1 point

I will say this. Whoever plays Gibson County better be ready to get hit in the mouth for four quarters. They are deep and they have had a great off season and summer, something that they needed last year bad.1 point
