You're not crazy, it very well could happen. For the past 10-15 years I have caught at least one Maryville game each year and was always amazed at how composed GQ was on the sidelines no matter what was happening on the field. I divide coaches into 2 broad groups: 1) Off-field coaching (getting players ready, developing them, conditioning, discipline, etc.) 2) Game-day coaching (making the right calls at the right time) #1 and #2 are not the same thing, not even close. Some coaches are great at one or the other but I would say GQ is a master at both.

Sander's took a whopping pay cut from what he was used to making to go help get this program straightened out. If I remember right he got $225,000 a year plus incentives that might as well said land on the moon for an extra 15K. GQ deserved a position like this more than 10 years ago but had to go pay his dues or would have had a hard time being accepted in the college football world by others that did. Me personally, I've lost so much interest in college football over the transfer portal and name likeness I'll never be a fan of it like I once was. Being a head coach now days with this rotten generation of self righteous kids would be worse than being a manager of a Burger King coming in wondering who will show up today.

All weak responses. If you would have pulled up a "Cascade is a very good team and I expect them to win the game" quote you would've had a point. But it doesn't exist. Total yards 228 to 267. Inman- 139 yards rushing; Davis, Swift, Bell, Burchell - combined 150 yards.. I realize you're bored and the T is slow this year but I'm not spending my Sunday afternoon arguing if a 5-6 Cascade team is better than a 6-1 Cascade team. The game is online for anyone to watch and make their own judgements or just look at stats. Pages 5 and 6 of this thread have been nothing but asinine.
