Brian Kelly has been active on Twitter. He has posted some weight lifting videos and track videos. Kelly should take over for Berven as the next OR All-State LB. I can't remember if I have posted this yet. Heyward earned his Fouth Star. Tee got 5 Stars and Brandon should get a fifth star next season. Hundley has earned a recruitment to West Point.

This is true. Hopefully they can get over the hump this year and make it back to the big game. It will likely be their best chance/team since 2018.

I wouldn't say historically. That's really only been the case the last 2 years. Before that, I know there were some really strong Independence teams in '15 and '16, but those were more or less 6A teams playing in 5A during the "super 32" nonsense. If we're bringing "historically" into the equation, I'd be taking this upcoming Henry County team over Nolensville. JMO of course.

Dobyns-Bennett Indians, 2022 4A Basketball State Champions. I like the sound of that. Honestly didn't think I'd see them win a state championship in one of the big 3 sports in my lifetime. Can't say they lucked into it either. Beat 3 very good teams to get it. Great job by the players and especially the coach. Turns out that "national search" was a good ideal. I am now convinced they got the best guy. Buck Van Huss was the best high school basketball coach that ever lived in my opinion. And he couldn't win a state championship at DB.
